I really, really like some of these rugs. If I ever get my darn tower mod finished and uploaded, the rugs will be there.
I like the colors/patterns/textures so much that I've been making round rugs with them. :) (I'll send you pix for your OK before I upload anything, and I'll certainly credit the textures to amorphos098.)
I haven't done anything yet with the big rugs you made for Dragonsreach. (I reorganize mods before loading them into my game, so just looking at some of the pieces in a mod can sometimes take some doing and sometimes I save those for later.) The Dragonsreach rug designs look so different to my eye. I'm really curious about the design. Did you work that up from scratch? Or maybe it's styled on something historical? If you have the time to talk about this a little, I'd be very interested in hearing what you say. Maybe you've got some links? I've spent some time looking at the small rugs and puzzling-out the stories they tell. I'm sure my guesses are wrong, but I like thinking about it. Such old, old stuff.
I'm sure these work with SSE, however you should still upload them to the nexus page. These are literally the only environmental textures I MUST have. Each clean install I do, it's the first thing I go for. Excellent job.
Sure thing. That would be a cool home especially if you include a bsa with textures in the mod.

I don't know how a set of texture files could crash the game though? Hmm it could be the meshes, i thought they were vanilla but maybe a mod added them. Well if anyone else gets the problem then i’ll have to just release the textures as a modders resource [i dont know how to make meshes].
Thanks I will be watching to see if anyone else reports issues. I read in some other mods that "If I look a certain way at this item, I get a CTD." Then the mod author would go "Oh ok I fixed that, there was this or that thing" so I thought maybe I would point it out so you could know. It's possible it's on my end but I get concerned when I crash when I am close to and look at a specific thing.
I actually redoing Lund's Hut in Rorikstead into a player home. I think these might do very nicely in there as long as it's okay to include your lovely textures in the mod.
amorphous, Could you please try this? I'm not sure if it's even going to work, because we both have different setups in our homes. This happened in my Lakeview Hearthfire home. Make a good save. Then go to the cooking area in the main hall, between the table and the fireplace. I was just off to the right facing inward. Then look down and exit your game looking down at the rug, making a different save. Then log back in. Who knows if it will happen to you but that's how I crashed.
The textures look very nice on smaller rugs, but there are significant tiling issues on larger rugs such as those found in Dragonsreach. I hope you take a look at that because they really do add a different look (and that's a good thing, in my opinion).

Are you making a norse style house ~ one which may require new norse textures?

I didnt realise i had added the extra texture, sry about that. I have edited every skin in the game though, so its easy to get lost in all that.
i dont know what caused your crash, i have had these [most of them] on my setup for ages.
