Does it also block the useful comments, like when they mention dragons, Falmer, or bandits in a certain place? It would be nice to get those and not the rest.
I think it does... it stops the guards from talking to you completely. But there might be a mod out there that does the thing you want. I heared there are more guard-dialogue mods on Nexus.
Thanks, I'll keep looking. I'm kinda torn... I approach guards deliberately to get those tips, but hate some of the comments they make... especially ones that require knowledge they can't possibly have.
I might give that a go if I'm out of inspiration for my two town-mods, I get annoyed by those guards as well... Make them only say something when they have something useful to say.

Make them only say something when they have something useful to say.
It aims to make the Guards actually speak to you like they should.
In the beginning they are rude but as you and your legend grows they become respectful and if your Thane or another high title they salute you.
So you only get them speaking to you when you go right up to them instead of just walking past.
