The Storm Call shout ruins it. Can't really conjure my awesome Reaper if there are any non-hostile NPCs around. Remove it, and this will be awesome. Now it's just useless.
This is more like it! I really appreciate this, this makes it more rewarding. I would have preferred that the Reaper was just as or right under the difficulty Karstaag presented in Dragonborn, otherwise getting his spellbook would make Karstaag obsolete. Would be nice if Reaper could be a 1-per day power that lasts three uses before fighting the Reaper again. But that is my biased opinion.

As for difficulty of Reaper, my original plan is that making the fight is more challenging and more harder than Karstaag from Dragonorn DLC, for those who has played Skyrim for long time and find no challenge anymore (i even planning to make him more stronger), but who knows, maybe i can add optional files that makes him slightly weaker. As for Spellbook and the limitation of his power (when conjured), you got point there, maybe i will make the conjurated version of him weaker so that it won't overpowered anymore to the point he would broke and maybe make him once-a-day limitation is actually brilliant. More suggestion i think?
so you want him to be a 3 time summon before he requires another fight to resummon him? that sounds interesting i've never seen a mod or a boss or a summon quite like that in any other game honestly. it kinda reminds me of how you gain access to the genie in FF8 but that only happens once lol........still i'd love for your suggest to come through as an option.
There is a mod that does that for karstaag. Normally you can only summon him three times total, with the mod you can then fight him again to get another three uses. Quite a good idea. If the same thing could be done for the Reaper that would be cool. I like this reaper mod, and already endorsed, but I removed the summon spell myself because I thought it was overpowered. I'm happy just having a cool boss fight. If the summon could be balanced somehow I would keep it, but it's not a big deal for me.
can you post the link of the mods? (mods that you can re-fight karstaag so that i can learn how it works, 'cause it seems like "restarting the quest during battle only so that you can fight him again grants the power to summon him?")
I think it will conflict while on Invisible Mode (during Ethereal/Invisible) 'cause Blizzard Spell not only damage nearby creature, but also damage the caster. BUT, anyway maybe i will try it and find the way out.
you COULD create a custom spell just for him that only damages foes near by IF you want to give him a frost spell. I mean considering drauger tend to have frost spells and the like i understand but this isn't a drauger so much as a physical embodiment of the soul cairn kinda so.......personally i'd rather him have a spell custom fit for what he is and not what he looks like because of your personal choice in making him look like a drauger lol
he is more like DAEDRA rather than DRAUGR (as you can loot daedra heart from him), and that's the reason why i put fire spell on him (in this case fire storm, cause a lot of daedra on Skyrim using fire spells/enchantments, like dremora lord and etc.). By putting the frost spell on him ALSO making him an exceptionally different than the rest of daedra which is also good (but that would make him frost/ice based creatures, same as Karstaag?). As for custom spells, well . . ., let me see what i can do. ('cause it will take a while as i also rather busy on my daily life schedule).
well you don't NECESSARILY need to add HP to him just make him stronger overall. if i learned one thing while studying game development when it comes to combat you never want to add too much HP to a boss on higher difficulties because higher HP is a false difficulty as all it does it make the fight go on longer due to bully sponginess (in this case damage sponge) not due to actual difficulty forcing the player to avoid damage and the like. keep his HP as is or SLIGHTLY higher but give his overall stats (excluding his HP) a 15% boost and you got a much harder boss to deal with i believe.
Take borderlands and the recent released and massive let down Destiny as an example of how NOT to do bosses as those boss fights can last up to 2 hours or so not because they're hard to fight but because they have so much HP that it just takes that long.
okay about the HP, right now it seems i got a problem where i change the firestorm damage, instead of damaging nearby enemies it seems only damaging the caster only (only stagger nearby creatures and do no damage except for the caster) and even it has different explosion effect than firestorm (weird cause i only change the damage but not the explosion effect). So it may take a while before i can update it.
