Update 1.1: Smoothed some jagged edges on the Dragon Priest dagger blade so it's nicer. The comparison image above is now outdated - the updated one looks much better.

I don't use either of those mods, but if they have custom dragon priest staffs with their own meshes, they won't work correctly. You could try and find them in the meshes folder and replacing them with one of mine, though - that would fix it.
I don't have SkyRE, but I'll try and help as best I can.
Have a look in your Skyrim meshes folder for a dragon priest staff. To make the search easier, maybe just try searching for "staff" in the meshes folder and see what comes up. If you find any dragon priest staff meshes that weren't included in my mod, then you'll have to replace it with one of mine. That should fix it.
If SkyRE doesn't have loose files and everything is contained in a .bsa folder, you might need to get someone else to help you because I don't have it and I can't check.
The priest staffs should be in the "dragon priest" folder, not "dragonprieststaff". That's why you're not seeing the textures. Yeah I know it's 1 year later response.
Beautiful. I always wondere what they were made from anyway because the dagger textures looked disgusting. But now its sooo good. I have to ask will they reflect gold or any light around you? like Candelight stale blue or Torch orange?

Instead of Nif Optimizer use Cathedral Assets Optimizer. And be sure to use SSE CreationKit Fixes.
