I have added the DLC spells and an automatic save function to the batch file, before and after removing the spells. Simply remove the text in the previous file and overwrite with this:
Be warned that this only works for your DLC, if your DLC has the following prefixes for IDs: 02 for Dawnguard and 04 for Dragonborn. This is most common by far though, so I don't see any problems when you use it. Still, you should always be careful when using mods or the console. Neither the mod author/uploader, nor myself are responsible when you break something.
INSTRUCTIONS ON USING THIS: Bat files are txt files you should drop in your main Skyrim folder. For me that's on my G drive, for many others it will be a different path, but here is my example: G:/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Skyrim
You need to drop it in the folder where the TESV.exe is and if you cannot see the extention, .exe, then you have extentions set as hidden in Windows. Still, if your games executable file is in that folder and named TESV, you should be fine.
Go into the game, a modded game, unmodded, it does not matter. Then use the console with the tilde key, the '~' . In the console, type 'bat RemoveAllSpells' , without quotes and it should work. Good luck.
Does not work in fomod or nexus mod manager , yet its activated. Will only work on the player itself, it won't remove the ENTIRE magic from the game like it says.
Ridiculous I can find this batch file on google documents, ITS NOT A MOD. How could you guys have endorse this? lol
..... Do you even know what a batch file is? And what they are used for and how they are used in Skyrim?
If you don't know what you're downloading, it doesn't mean the uploader did something wrong - aside from not explaining how it works on the description page.
I'll help you, if you want: a batch file is called through the console. bat <whatever the name is>. From the description, to me, it was clear that it was meant to get rid of the spells from the player's menu only. Why? Because normally you would have to do that manually, one by one, by inputting all commands yourself. This bat file just makes it easier and faster.
No, it is not a mod; but the Nexus is also for the sharing of batch files, tools and guides that make players' and modders' lives easier.
Please drop the txt file in your main skyrim directory (the one with TESV.exe in it) and go in-game to the console. Then type bat <name of the file, you can rename it however you want> and it should work.
Although, I haven't tried this particular bat file out yet; I'm going to do that now, if it also removes DLC spells.
EDIT: @Anubis100, maybe it would be a good idea to post instructions on your mod page's description. I can see many people are confused, as they do not know how batch files work. Thanks for this though.
Never heard of Skyrim Unbound? You can download it here http://www.chinagreenelvis.com/gaming/mods/skyrim/skyrim_unbound/ Much better than this one, No spells (if you want), no main quest, no dragons (if you want) and more. Do what you want. My favorite mod but doesnt exist on Nexus
im not new and this won't work. the instructions, i suppose, would be to add it with NMM and activate it (there is no plugin), or manually: 1. download file 2. extract (only if the file is compressed) 3. in you skyrim data folder, create a new folder named "RemoveAllSpells" (yes the R, A and S have to be capitol + no spaces) 4. click and drag what you downloaded and drop it in the folder named "RemoveAllSpells" in the skyrim data folder that you created 5.leave it like that, DONT MESS WITH ANY FILES. 6. start skyrim 7. after loading game press the hilde key ( ~ ) which is located in the top left on your keyboard under the "ESC" key. Aprrox. the bottom half of screen should be filled with a translucent black color, muting soundFX but music. 8. Exactly type this (no spaces except between "bat" and "removeallspells" and R, A and S MUST be capitolized) bat RemoveAllSpells just like that, no quotes, or special keys. once again: it didnt work for me so....... im pissed, sooo many useless spells -.- bat RemoveAllSpells
@zeak00 have you tried to delete without the bat file? i mean does it work to remove the spells 1 by 1? because if not then its not because the bat file isn't working for you... and have you installed the file correctly?
I FOLLOWED UR INSTRUCTION NOW LOOK WHERE IT GOT ME NOW MY SKYRIM KEEPS CRASHING TO DESTOP AT START I HOPE EVERYONE SEE THIS AND KNOW NOT TO DOWNLOAD THIS STUPID FILE

After that, save it and use it like normal.
