I know that this is a very late reply for and old an insignificant mod, but, since I’ve been playing around with skyrim again and I didn’t respond earlier better late than never I guess... To answer your question, yes, the alpha wolves are only for the regular, not the ice ones, because they didn’t have a different texture. I guess I could make something similar for the ice wolves, they would be stronger and slightly bigger than the regular ice wolves, but other than that they would look the same. Then again, this is an old mod, and I don’t know if it’s worth it to do changes to it ha-ha
This mod is excellent. I installed it, played the game for over an hour, and found two of them. I can personally verify that this mod works well. I'm surprised that it's not more well known. You would think that more people would want something like this. I would have used this a long time ago, but I didn't know about the Alpha Wolves. I saw the picture, but I thought that it was just an embellishment for the loading screen. I didn't know they were a real thing.
