More screenshots coming "soon", if you are willing to add your own, go ahead, I like having people sharing their images, especially if you have a somewhat high-end rig.

Also, remember comments are appreciated. (:

I would also be very happy for a separate "used robe" kind of item made of this, instead of a replacer.

Any possibility to get a standalone version of this? I have absolutely no knowledge whether this is just a quick switch in the CK or a whole nother can of worms. If you do make a standalone, I would really appreciate it!

I've searched for the mod but I can't find it, what I can tell you is, whatever it is there's a 99% chance that it's an yes. Being retextures of vanilla they're compatible with pretty much everything (except you know, stuff that replaces that same texture, duh)

If it's a mod changing the meshes, you can either try and see how they fit or get my optional file.

If you PM me a link to the mod I'll check it out and give you a sure answer, though. (:

The author is actuatlly kryptopyr, sorry for shortening it.
And thank you very much for the quick reply and willingness to help, I am PM=ing you as well as putting the link here to the mod.
Clothing And Clutter Fixes fixes values and leveled lists and stuff, i think. Which shouldn't conflict with your mod since it is a texture replacer. But CCF also changes some colors to certain robes I think. It is a very widely used mod, that many use since it is a pre-requisite for Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade by the same author.

I have noticed one strange thing about it, the hood textures are not actually separated, so in order to have a hood from this mod separate like the hoods from CCF, you need to overwrite one of the colored hoods. Since it removes all instances of hooded robes and creates separate hoods. I'm having trouble trying to figure out which hood to use to replace what, but it's only a minor thing.

I havent played Skyrim for a long while, and I am not remembering this, so I gotta ask:
I have downloaded pretty much all you have made, but when I finished and activated it in MO, the different monk-robes was overwriting eachother. Now, I dont remember if there is different types of robes ingame, or if you have only called it different things out from how you retextured it...
Will I have to pick a robe, then?

      Nope, every robes retextures a different piece of clothing. The thing overwriting is the Normal Maps since they all use the same. Don't worry about it! (;

Btw, Lind, i need to ask you, cause...have mercy, I havent played since release, and im setting up my modlist... I use opulent outfits - replacer only. That supposedly only change collge-robes, altho not sure... YOur robes, um... are they all for wizard? It show no overwrite, but then again, the names are completely different in the opulent-folder. Could you shed some light on the matter...?
And yes.. I want it all, the best of it all *grin*

No worries, I'm glad to help if I can.

Let's see here, I don't really have any experience with that mod, but I'd say you should use the "Mages of Winterhold - Replacer Pack" if you don't want any conflict with my own robes, since my understanding is it replaces the meshes for the long ones if you install the common pack.
Otherwise you can just use his standalone version along with my retextures, since there should be no conflict that way. (:

Love this retexture. Your work is great!
Could you make a Vaermina robe retexture please? I would love it!

I have a few updates ready, as soon as I finish building my new desktop I'll upload them, thing with the Vaermina's is they use a different mesh with "Bumps" for the decorations, so can't really get too crazy on those without changing the mesh. We'll see I guess. (:

Lind001, I love your work. Your robes are a must-have for every playthrough and I'd endorse them even more if I could. My only complaint - I want more of them! You've done such a great job with the robes that I wish I could see what your take on the rest of the clothing would be, but I'll take what I can get. Thank you so very much for the gorgeous robes!

Your robe re-textures are very beautiful indeed. However, I find (most of) them have too much detail compared to the rest of Skyrim gear or the default ones.
I'm not pretending to criticize your work, as I truly think they're awesome and very good looking; just a personal concern on how the other armors/clothes may look a bit out of place in comparation to these.
Probably going to give them a try in a future playtrough anyways, your work is appreciated (:

I thought this at first too, and at first they did stand out, but after a while they really start to look far more normal and natural then the original ones, especially on priests and in the temples etc. Now if I have to test something out on the vanilla game, the robes look poorly made and boring, and I much welcome the mod. It really is a great addition and fits in much better if your running other modded items in your game which generally make them look nicer too

    Lind,

Absolutely brilliant work on all your robes. I'd been watching and lurking in anticipation of the all-in-one download, but simply couldn't wait any longer to play as a mage without at least a couple of them (brown, blue, and green). In game, I'm even more impressed with the detail.

I've also got to say I really appreciate having the UNP mesh option. I've played a male Argonian (with a ninja turtle shell mod I've recoloured to match a certain real-life turtle) for far too long. It's been great fun finding modular trousers and pauldrons to kit him out, far too much roleplaying, and logging over six-hundred hours into the character, but I need a reprieve. I've wanted a human female illusion mage character for some time. The problem being, I've CBBE downloaded, and cannot find a single conversion for the vanilla robes anywhere on the Internet. Is it so much to ask?

At any rate, the UNP mesh works just fine, and it's all I'd wanted anyway - a little contour on low weight settings rather than the default boxy profile. Will you be, by chance, adding support to your other robes? It appears only the brown and blue have this option.

This project of yours is one of those pieces of art which makes Nexus such a great place.

    Cheers!

Thank you very much for your kind words. (:

To be honest I'm not really happy with most of my old works right now, particularly red and grey, which may or may not lead to me remaking them (Already working on the red one actually), although I really do want to realease a full pack, so once i get the last two wrapped up, I guess I'll go for it.

Regarding the meshes, I do have the CBBE ones on my hard drive, but I have completely forgot who made the version I used, which may lead to giving credit to the wrong person, so I may just add one of caliente's meshes later on if he gives me the permission.

      And yes, I will definitely add it to all my robes. (;

Edit; I'm also releasing an updated version of the green ones soon, so you may want to keep an eye on it if you're using it.

Of course (regarding the compliment)! I've been a member here some time, but typically follow the practise of 'lurking moar'. Your work certainly deserves some credit, however, and it's rare to see a mod author so enthusiastically engaged with their patrons. It's admirable in my eyes. After all, modders are essentially very much twenty-first century artists. The work deserves credit.

Good luck getting that permission from Caliente; I don't know how active she is on Nexus these days. I'd been watching the vanilla armour pack for two years hoping to see an update. I've just taken a moment to digest how pathetic that sounds - watching for an update for so long. Of course, Jeir has been brilliantly maintaining the forum discussions there, and outfit studio or whatever is capable of doing all that conversion stuff.

I appreciate the information regarding the green robes! I know it's sort of useless, but if ever you need some help do let me know. I'm rather limited in my ability and time, but willing to assist as I can.

      Regards
