If I may suggest, a simple way to make a 'quest' for this tower is to have some pests inside the tower (skeevers etc), and a diary that gives some backstory and gives you the 'clear the tower of pests' quest. To make sure the player doesn't break anything, you could have said diary be the 'trigger' to unlock a door to the rest of the tower's inside, so that it HAS to be read before you can clean up.
That's a really cool tower, but it looks a little bit empty, especially the walls seem naked... You should put some display plaques, and more decorations, and it really needs some ambience and character, to emphasize that a powerful mage lives there, some floating crystals, more College of Winterhold banners, Dwemer machinery, animated magical stuff, that sort of things. I'll track your mod for a while now, perhaps my suggestions will help you....
The "doors" are those round mage symbols on the floor. They are teleporters. Run your cursor over them to see where they will transport you when you click on them.
Love this mod, really great work ^^ but just a quick question, the minerals and ingots (and alchemist itmes) keep spawning or once i took him never apear again?)
I really like the external. My one question: any chance you could make this display friendly and add displays for artifacts, black books, claws, dragon masks etc. ? Specialized displays add so much to collectors (like myself).
