Thanks for the reply, but every tutorial out there says there should be files included in the ENB folder from Boris, but v113 is missing such files. It seems that there is no agreement on the subject of ENB usage, and now I'm wondering if it's even worth the difficulty.
Things like enbhost.exe and others were missing from enb v113. I took a screenshot of the Wrapper version folder's contents, but I cant share. The enbhost.exe is definitely missing. I cant remember what else is missing from v113.
None of the tutorials address this issue. Maybe v113 is too old to have these missing items, but none of the tutorials say a thing about it.
You only need the d3d9.dll fle. All the other files from the enb donwload are not needed. Regarding enbhost.exe: This file is part of a newer ENB release and is not part of 0.113. So, just download ENB, drop the d3d9.dll in your skyrim folder and copy the files from this enb there, too. Thats it.
I've always been a bit skeptical on using new ENBs that are based on the older binaries since I don't get to enable/disable a lot of the features in the newer binaries. However, this ENB gives me what I want without having to mess with all the features from newer binaries (although I have to edit the enbseries.ini).
Disclaimer: I'm an absolute noob when it comes to programming and modding. Is this ENB compatible with ENBoost, CoT, and ELFX? Also, will I have to uninstall my current version of ENB, if I have a later version than what your ENB uses?
Its not compatible with CoT but its compatible with RLO. It is compatible with ELFX, and Im not sure if its compatible with ENBoost or not because I dont see much fps change.
Step 1: download and extract enbseries 0.113 step 2: rename the d3d9.dll file as you wish, example: d3d9performance.dll step 3: Download and extract the latest enb files: http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0264.htm step 4: download and extract enboost. step 5: download and extract this mod. step 6: Open enblocal.ini and, under [PROXY], set EnableProxyLibrary=true InitProxyFunctions=true ProxyLibrary=(The name of the d3d9.dll that you modified: example: d3d9performance.dll) Step 7: Open skyrim, you are done!
Looks pretty good if its using 113 enb... good for my laptop. But it's a bit crazy in my game with so much blurring though, especially of the background. Also makes characters in the BG look funny.. I'll send a pic in the user image section to show you.
Just for information: You will have to remove the d3d9.dll from your download package because Boris does not allow distribution of his ENB files: "POSTING THE ENBSERIES BINARY FILES ON NEXUS SITES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED"

Besides, it fixed my shadows.

Im on an old gtx 275 and it runs some of the older ENBs ok but normally once its past the .200 line it drops hard.
