OK sorry for possibly another stupid question. I'm sort of just learning about ENB. Is this ENB preset to be used with an ENB I already have loaded, for instance...Realvision, or is it a stand alone ENB. Again sorry for my ignorance I just want to use it. Also...your ini and prefs files keep me busy for hours and I thank you wholeheartedly for that. Great work.
My short experiment, and bare in mind this is coming from a noob modder.
So I basically used your enblocal.ini/enbseries.ini on this webpage, plus your Skyrim.ini/SkyrimPrefs.ini on your other webpage, which is this one http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59292/?
I switched the RealVision (Performance version) file's out and used your's. The result was pretty wasn't as good, but that may be because the RealVision author's ENB just doesnt work well with your file's.
However I did notice 1 think while comparing your Enblocal.ini to his, and that was that yours said 'AutodetectVideomemorysize-True' while his said 'AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false <-- Because it keeps guessing wrong.'
Either way I did endorse both of your webpage's including the enb guide 1, just wanted to know if you could explain why your AutodetectVideoMemorySize is true and his is false.
my spec's in case you wanted to know them. i5 3570k 3.4ghz 16gb ram gtx 770 2gb
You have pointed out the obvious truth that this preset won't be the best for everyone. The ENB preset/settings you use is dependent on many factors. I am new to learning about this and I am currently, and slowly, learning about DirectX programming, so my ability to know it all is limited.
I do not know why AutodetectVideoMemorySize works for me. it just does. I have a routine, I experiment, and note the results. If results are good, I share.
Thanks Sandalphon10! I used Sharpshooters ENB, and I adjusted VolumetricFog, [MIST], and VolumetricRays at sunrise. For all mods involved, read my book:SKYRIM ENB GUIDE.
I know nothing about RCRN, except that it wouldn't work for me. I recommend learning how to install and use ENB on your own, because you will have thousands more options. Read The "Skyrim ENB Guide".
First time I tried an ENB preset and I was really amazed when I saw the light effects of interiors in my game after installing this. Also, I loved how my character and environment looked more 3D.
But I have 2 problems:
1- It's too dark. 2- Near objects are blurred instead of far objects, and far objects are clear. However, in your screenshots I see that the blur effect is working as how it should be. Yet, my experience was complete opposite.
I'm new in this ENB thing and I have no idea how I can fix these. Can you tell me how I can fix these 2 problems? :S
First I want to sincerely thank Jenna Watson for putting her efforts here for everyone to benefit from. Modding Skyrim is no joke and takes hours of reading, trial and error for the pieces to start to fit together.
I had the same Near objects blurred result. When I went into the enbseries.ini file and set EnableDepthOfField=false, that issue went away for me.
before you turn off Depth of Field, try THIS: 1. Changing the DOF (Depth of Field) to a different setting, like LOWor High 2.see if you have any other camera enhancing mod running. Then remove it. 3. Then try installing the camera fix I mentioned in SKYRIM PERFORMANCE BOOSTER http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6508/?
4. if that doesn't work, uninstall your ENB and use Sharpshooters ENB (this is likely to be your problem and solution)
5. IF all this still doesn't work, open the ENB configuration window (SHIFT + ENTER) and "uncheck" the Depth of Field box. This turns it off.
6. If you still want D.O.F., then install Dynovision: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12525/?
7. I highly recommend you read my ENB Guide:SKYRIM ENB GUIDE (It will help resolve the darkness issues.) This weekend I will update it with more info on adjustments.
Once I get my computer back,I am going to try this and the tweaks. I will submit screen shot too. What EMB are you use for this and the visual/performance tweaks shots?

Well I'll try anyways.
