Thanks for the endorsements, guys, I really appreciate it!.. My warmest thanks to you all .
'ANIMOBJECT ONLY' VERSIONS AVAILABLE:
For those of you who do not want to replace the clutter version of the tankard, I just uploaded 2 new "animation only" files. If you have already installed a complete version and want to switch, make sure to uninstall your previous version first, then install the new 'animobject-only' version. No need for a clean save of course, but don't just overwrite as this would not suffice to uninstall the clutter version. Make sure to uninstall old version, then install new one. Thanks!
Thanks to Animegirl for reminding me and sorry for not having thought about it earlier.
Hey Hoamaii! Please make a compability patch with this mod and Realistic HD Misc's Tankard by HalkHogan.Realistic Hd Misc's Tankard so beautiful and we want to see your perfect mod with his perfect tankard!
There are many tankard texture versions on the Nexus, I used only one here. Like I said a little further down, I may get to do other versions later but for the moment I'd rather keep all my modding time to finish a much bigger mod I've been working on for a long time. Thanks for your interest though .
Can't you make one that has blood in the goblets for the vampires in castle Volkihar? Please do that!!! It sucks looking at the vampires in the castle drinking out of empty goblets and looking at those fake @$$ blood stained goblets on the table. For that, I had to use Jaxon Positioner to put the Blood Chalice inside the goblets on the table to make it look like they actually have a feast with blood in their goblets, but they are still drinking out of empty goblets. Hook this up, bro!
By Molag Bal man. I never thought I needed this mod. Decided to give this mod a go, and damn. My immersion is greatly improved, especially considering the fact that killing Imperials and fucking daedras is thirsty work. The drink looks a bit too refined for me (was expecting something more stale looking since you know, Medieval), but all in all, a great little mod. No problems so far and has earned permanent residency in my mod list.
The basictankard01.nif in the "Hoamaii_Wine In Tankards - Animobjects and Clutter V02" download is using the wrong texture paths on the tankard object itself. It's using "textures\hoamaii beer\" instead of "textures\hoamaii wine\". That makes the tankard show up purple in game. It can be fixed by copying the wine textures to that path or editing the nif to correct the path.
Hmm... no, it doesn't. I just downloaded both files to double-check and verified all meshes' textures paths as well as the texture sets folder and they're all correct. How you ended up getting Beer textures is beyond me seeing that you only downloaded Wine versions of the mod too. Even if it was a file error in the Nexus downloads, you would have ended up with a different file name than the one you got. That's all very odd. Are you sure you didn't already have older meshes in your game, from an older download?
I'm sure; I even went back to my original download to double check just in case the file did get mixed up in my install somehow. I downloaded it again just now to re-confirm, in case of a Nexus download error. Here's a screenshot of what I see in Nifskope: screenshot
I'll add that it's only on the tankard shape, the wine inside uses the "hoamaii wine" path as expected. The animobjects are correct, too.
Oh, right, you were talking about the tankard niTriShape, not the beverage!.. Gosh, you're right, I can't believe nobody noticed that before!.. (I'm using Clearsky Hideout in my game which has this mod included, so I never needed to add these specific files in my game). Thanks for telling me, DarkRudra, I'm uploading a fixed file right now. Edit: done. New file has been uploaded and is available.
With Follower Live Package followers perform goblet themed animation quite a lot. It is always an empty one. It sucks. You Hoamaii promised to add wine to goblet-animobjects, if I'm not mistaken. Planning to implement that someday?
Yeah, optimizer for the .nifs, I already converted it successfully a while ago - but for some reason, I still can't get textures right, whatever I try they show almost transparent in SSE...
I read your post on the Nexus Forums about the lighting issue, from a year ago. I am trying to convert Immersive Soul Gems to SSE for personal use and am having similar issues to what you described. I was wondering how this turned out. From what you posted, the problem isn't in the nif so much as the textures?
Do your nifs utilize nialphaproperties and double sided flag?
Hi, I managed to get it to work in SE. But only Beer in the tankard or only wine. Not beer and wine together. They look both great! But I prefer the beer
Personaly I havent got any transparancy issues with these textures like the mod author stated.
For the wine version:
1.Just download the clutter only version of the mod. 2.Extract it with winrar. 3.Run SE NIF Optimizer. (wich you find on the skyrim nexus SE website) 4.Choose your extracted folder in the options and let it finish. When it's done just repack the folder in winrar. 5.Go to nexus mod manager, press the + icon and activate the mod Done
For the Beer version:
First do the above steps 1-4 5. After that :Go to nexus page of oldrim, Search for the mod 'RUSTIC DINNERWARE'. In the the optional files section of the mod manually download 'homai beer in tankards patch '(1 or 2k) 6. After you manually download the file. Extract it. Open the extracted folder and go to textures/homaii wine 7. From there copy the file 'tankardBeer55_d.dds' and paste it on your desktop 8.There change the name from the file 'tankardBeer55_d.dds to 'tankardWine40_d.dds' 9. Now copy paste the 'tankardWine40_d.dds' file in the folder of step 2. 10..Repack the folder with winrar and add it with + icon in nexus mod manager
Voila enjoy.
Thousand times thanks to homaii for this awesome mod!!
Hey Hoamaii, I hope you still online on this (your) mod though.. So, does this mod makes all tankards have wine/beer in its? Or is it just most of its? Cuz It wouldn't make sense if tankards still filled and freshly lookin' drinks inside some places like dungeon, abandoned buildings/areas/ruins, etc, right?
