I believe the big chest is safe. TES5Edit shows it as player house chest and its empty. I usually keep away from containers that have items already in them.
I was hunting in that area when I thought to myself. these are good hunting grounds but I wish I could have a shack in this area. I googled shack in Whiterun and here I am. You have placed it in a good location and now i'm a happy hunter, thank you and will endorse!
"And to answer my question from reddit about Frostfall, it does provide shelter from rain (it still falls inside visually but FF is saying I'm not getting wet)."
This is pressure68's comment just below yours. I think it is, if you mean this by compatible.
I ain't gonna lie, I'd throw a brother redditor an endorsement even if the mod sucked, but this is a very good one. A nice little shack in the middle of "nowhere". Thanks for putting this up.
Just to give you a head's up though, I had to undelete and disable 4 records before I could add this to my merged plugin.

I'm glad Frosfall recognises it. I don't understand the "I had to undelete and disable 4 records before I could add this to my merged plugin." though. What records? What did you try to merge it with?
I really like this house it has the right look and feel for a ranger/hunter playthrough (which I'm planning after finishing my current one), being very simple and very open. I'm not too keen on the location though, It feels way too "exposed" being pretty much in the middle of the central plains. I can definitly see a place like this in the forest of Falkheart, not so much in the plains of Whiterun.
This does seem like a good point, although I have no such issue due to my current mod set up. It does make sense for it to be near Falkreath considering the whole hircine quest that you do around there as well and it is certainly a place I could see a hunter being.
I must say, I like the smaller details such as the fishing equipment and the fact it's placed near water.
+1 to this post but overall I enjoy the simplicity and style of the house. Keep up the good work.
I see your point. To be honest this started out as a personal mod, this is why I've built it here. I just fell in love with this part of the map... Lots of animals and interesting places to visit. I tried to place it a little bit closer to the side of the plains, close to a hill/mountain. Have a good time hunting in your next game!
This looks really good and it turns out I'm running a hunter/alchemist this go around. I think this part of the map may have a lot of bandits in my game from OBIS. Thanks for sharing!
Some mod makes my game swarm with dwemer creatures. Sometimes about 20 appear at the same time, and at Master difficulty is not a walk in the park. Still, this is my favourite place. Glad you liked it!
