   is the hitbox as big as the shield itself? too many scutum or tower shield mods have failed me as arrows go straight through em

   This mod needs more love. The textures are excellent, and you have a choice of using it as a vanilla replacer, or a craftable standalone.

   It's forgeable but not upgradeable? That's a little strange, isn't it? I had to make my own tempering patch in the CK. Other than that miniscule complaint, this is a wonderful mod for a ranged, lightning-throwing caster to deflect incoming enemy arrows and spells.
   
   Now if only I could annoy someone enough to make a DSR patch patch for it...

   It's the early principate shield. Probably the most aesthetic and iconic of all the features of legionary gear. Great work!
   
   I personally would LOVE to see later Empire oval shields, since in Skyrim timeline, the Tamriel empire seems to be on the verge of decline.

      Well the collision mesh covers the entire shield. So quite large.
