Is there a version of the mod that does not depend on the old USKP as master, but on USLEEP?

      Same comment.
LOOT and MO flag the missing (deprecated) master file.
TES5EDIT can't open the file because of the name conflict.
Thanks in advance, and happy holidays or holy days.

Hi Laacis, thanks for the useful mod! I was wondering if at some point there's any way you might be willing to add LOD optional support for "natural aspen recolor"? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75491 Just an alternative to the usual fall look and the trees are gorgeous with SBT, but the pop-in from orange to green is a bummer.

Well it seems to work ok. I installed the optional one for SBT and Realistic Aspens and then also installed the "main file' which says its supposed to override but it didnt at all...
Uh yeah anyway you might want to update the inctructions.

When a version number increases past "1.9" the next version should read "2.0" instead of "1.10"
Because 1.10 is same exact numerical meaning as 1.1

If you're not comfortable moving to "2.0" in terms of version titles, then you can name it "1.91" or "1.9b"
    cuz....decimal systemz :/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_versioning You have my permission to educate yourself=)
difference between 1.0 and 2.0 is a major rework and new features. If i suddenly made mod installer support and reformatted whole thing, maybe then i could version it 2.0.

I think you both are right here. 1.9 does come of as higher than 1.10. So perhaps 1.01 and so on would have been better. I also agree that 2.0 is pushing it for a slight update.

As SFO upgraded from 2.0c to 2.0d I suddenly had the "flying tree" issue (only TamrielLODs, but not map LODs). I was too busy to care about it and reverted to 2.0c and everything was fine again. Now Vurt upgraded again to 2.0e and I thought I will give it another try. Still the flowing tree issue. I know that issue in combination with SBT, but my save has never seen a SBT install...

Ok, I was eager to use the new SFO version and gave your mod a try (non SBT option).

    You sir, are a wizard.

Not only the flying tree LOD issue is totally gone, I realize that your mod mixes some really tall trees among the LODs, which looks very nice. In additon your mod seems to add new trees.

Ok this issue is fixed, but I would really be able to understand what actually causes this issue. It does only affect Tamriel LODs (and pretty far away ones, at least for me) and it seems to be a problem with the btr/btt LOD meshes (btw what's the difference ?). That's all my knowledge.

Found it, Realistic Aspen Trees overrides SFO LODs.

Now we just need an update of RAT and your mod to enjoy the newest SFO LODs....although RAT vanished from Nexus I just realized...

@Sigurd44: What is the mod "RAT"? Never heard of that one i think ; )

      Edit:
Oh, i guess its "Realistic Aspen Trees" ; )

Yep, it's Realistic Aspen Trees...and I wonder why that mod vanished from Nexus. Usually SFO is the first choice, but those aspens look too awesome imho. I hope laacis2 still has the allowance to use the textures for his Tree Fix. Tree Fix needs an update of its tamrieltreelod.dds in that way, that the .dds file shows all new SFO tamriel tree LODs with the exception of the aspen trees, the later should be RAT LODs (maybe SFO aspen LODs will work too, no idea).

Yep...and actually I use them at moment.

Your TamrielTreeLOD.dds does support RAT, but there aren't the most current SFO LODs included (v2.0d, v2.0e) as far as I can watch that in photoshop. With SFO LODs I mean the rest of the tree types (pines, firs etc, not the aspens).

At moment you have to make a decision:

-either install SFO 2.0e and deinstall RAT, because otherwise you will have glitches (flying trees), because RAT's TamrielTreeLOD.dds will override the SFO TamrielTreeLOD.dds. TamrielTreeLOD.dds will match RAT's aspens but will cause glitches for other types of trees.

-or install SFO 2.0e, install RAT + Tree Fix -> Tree Fix' TamrielTreeLOD.dds will override the SFO TamrielTreeLOD.dds and the RAT TamrielTreeLOD.dds again, which results in RAT compatibilty but "old" SFO LODs for pines, firs etc.

Hope this makes it clear. Any hope that you update your TamrielTreeLOD.dds for the new SFO tree LODs except for aspens (so that the later are still compatible with RAT) ?

It wouldn't be such an issue if every tree type would have its own TamrielTreeLOD.dds, but the game structure seems to demand just one TamrielTreeLOD.dds file that containes all LOD textures for all sorts of trees in one file. So it's a photoshop job :-)

Usualy the RAT modder should do that, but he vanished from Nexus...

fine i will look into this 2.0e lod issue. How i was creating my lod was by making screenshots of trees in CK and placing them in tamriellod.dds file. However i thought 2.0e came out when i was doing it. My skyrim is currently shot so i need to install it all from scratch

Hello mod community, that's my first ever comment becuase i'm out of options LOL. I installed Lush grass and trees instead of Skrim Flora Overhaul and then sometime later i installed bigger trees, but it was lagging to much on riverwood, some trees were to damn big in the cities, it was not good... so i tried to uninstall it. The problem is that after i uninstalled it, the trees remained! I don't know how! It's like the mod replaced and added some trees in the cities and a lot of the trees of the city in Whiterun are FLOATING!! There are some that are not floating but they're in the middle of the FUCKING STAIR! f*#@! Help please, is this a mod that can fix that kind of problem??

Even when not using SBT, it happens, that s#*! kind made a fusion with the original trees of skyrim and is now conflicting with my cities mods as well -,-... the only way i managed to kind make the trees disapper was to use disable command on the trees... is there a way to reinstall skyrim and keep all the mods i already have on mod organizer, i guess that would be the only real solution =(

I tried the non SBT version but it made huge SFO tree lods (using SFO 2.0f). What influences the size of them? Just how much space they take up in the .dds? Or the .btt meshes?

Any thoughts with using this with SFO 2.0e (the newest version)? Tracking, for now.

Is it possible to make a LOD version for the skyrim bigger trees smaller version? I either get giant LODs that pop into small trees or tiny trees that pop into giant ones ... could I possibly do it myself by editing .btt files? How would I open them? Thanks again for this mod!
Found DynoLOD ... going to give it a try!

i thought i created two lods. One for SBT and one for non SBT. my mod is slightly out of date since new SBT came out but i have no time to update it before Christmas, so you can try using older SBT.
