Great idea. I also liked the "animal on shoulder"-mod.. I believe it was yours? Unfortunately It´s not online anymore and I was waiting for something similar to that mod. I´ll test it after work ^^.
Aah, thanks for the information. Although I thought that the creature was actually sitting on the shoulder?! I´d love that ^^. A cat or a raven sitting on the shoulder (like on that statue of Noctura) would be great for magical characters :-). But anyway thank you for sharing your mods!

I use another mod called "Summon Shadow MERCHANT by xdarkness" located: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10166/? One of the spells he sells is called "Crow on Shoulder". Cast it to get the bird to show, cast again to remove him. It is also not static and as such looks about while perched.
Now, here is an idea, whether possible or not I have no idea. But a follower bird as with this mod, but the bird also rests on the PC's shoulder when not in battle... how cool that would be
I would love to see this too! A script to monitor if the player is moving and/or in combat would likely do it... so when the player is standing still the follower can move to the player and "land" on the shoulder, and when the player begins to move or combat begins, the bird will "take off" again. This would be awesome!
Bonus request: If you can hotkey the ability to command the Raven to "hunt" for rabbits (disappear off in a random direction for x minutes) then bring back the carcass, it would really add to any hunter/survival playthough!
It could be cool if you could add a scrips so after you dismiss it you instantly get and equip an "item" (the crow) that is then mounted on your shoulder :3 And another think that could be nice was if you could fix the animation, perlhaps find a way that makes it look more natural when it's standing idle and such. its a cool idea but the raven follows way to close , does not move when run into, and is not dismiss able. which unless you have one of the follower system overhauls makes it impossible to get another beast follower even if you uninstall the mod

In my game, I resized (3.0 scale) him and named him Carwaan. So the low-poly and low-res nature of his mesh and textures becomes glaringly obvious. But still, it's an awesome thing you did!
