    this needs more attention :|
combined with some other mods, whenever I'm in Whiterun, it feels like the only live place in game (no graphics mods tho lel HD 3000)

    please
continue your work on this one

This may be a stupid question because it seems obvious even to me with the tiny bit of CK experience I have but I'll ask anyway. I try to avoid mods that add too very many scripts. I assume this does not add any, right?

BTW, it's a great idea even without a bunch of new NPCs hanging about. It seems so obvious that people would sit along a bridge or lean in a shady spot. I would really love to see this mod grow. Most cities and towns really need a whole lot more idling spots added. Even some areas along the more traveled and less dangerous roads could use a few sit-down locations on the walls along the roads

These appear to be vanilla idle markers, so no scripts, other than the NPC's default Sandbox package that says "hey, here's a place to park it"

The problem with running lots of scripts is running lots of BAD scripts.

I have found (at least I think this is true) that running lots of script heavy mods tend to slow my computer down. I have a good machine but I run a VAST amount of mods.

brilliant idea, but compatibility is a huge issue. lots of mods add or delete crates, chairs, and other clutter all around that marketplace area, which would probably screw up the idle markers...

I suggest looking at Dawn of Whiterun.

True. Maybe a version would be good which uses only the "hardpoints" of the cities: places which 99% of the city-overhauls generally won't touch and keep in their original placement. E.g. bridges and stairs.

That or Parent your idle markers to overlapping primitives and set the collision layer of those primitives to that of Static/trees/terrain and have your primitives act like triggers.
If someone installs a new mod chances are your idle markers and primitives will have a big building placed over them.

Since you have the collision layer checking just for such a thing it will launch an OnTriggerEnter() event, in which you can tell it to disable all of its idle marker children. Then if the mod is ever uninstalled, then OnTriggerLeave() will run and you can reenable it again.

Don't think I have enough NPC's since I never see any just standing around looking out of place. Really cool idea though

And they can't do anything about it since he's the Jarl. LOL!

Would loading this after a town mod help this one work? I'm worried about conflicts but highly interested in this. So tracking!
