I agree with making the bones of the dragons look bright, fresh and ''new'', since we mostly only see dragon skeletons after we've killed them, but things like mammoth skulls look better when they are darkenned, so that they look a bit more old and worn, if you know what i mean. Same thing with the skeletons, they're probably quite old beings and their bones are probably quite old too.
I sort of agree with you, it's just my brain doesn't seem to want to be logical for this one .. I think its mainly been the mammoth / troll skulls and dragon bones that have felt wrong for me personally, but while I was at it I decided to try brighter skeletons as well. Might get sick of them fast but for now I kind of like it
Yeah, well on the bright side (Pun intened) You can probably notice these things a bit better since they are also brighter, which makes an all-round better feeling of being in a really nordic land where they mount mammoth and dragon skulls on their walls ;P
Ahw, don't say that, now i regret posting these comments... Don't let others or me change what you think about your mods. You've made some really badass mods over the past few months and you should continue to do that (i hope). I have ZERO experience with modding, and i am waaaay too often criticizing other modders (because i have no life )
Nono, it's not that, I was just playing around in game some more and on sunny days in a region I haven't been to recently these can be a bit blinding ! It seems either bright or dark, I sometimes go a bit too much to the extreme side with my initial edits.. Uploading a less bright version now.
Thanks for the badass mods comment btw, made me smile
