considering the redwater is basically a neverending well of watery, tainted blood. It'd make me think that a vampire taking redwater skooma would have different effects. However I understand implementing that might be a tad difficult.

Actually after a lot of trial and error in a far more complex vampire mod, thousands of times more complex than this one, it's actually incredibly easy, and took almost no effort to update. I now added a new version where only vampires get the health buff, and vampires aren't slowed by drinking it.

Sorry for the delays... I was spending many days experimenting with blender, planning on a possibly entirely unrelated mod. Stuff having to do with meshes. On the upside I learned how to modify meshes, and bring them back to Skyrim... On the downside, maintaining their animations after doing so proved... Lets just say unbelievably frustrating. So I'm taking another long hiatus from any Blender or mesh type work again. Keeping in mind I never did that before and only recently learned even how to install Blender properly.

So with that plan postponed partially permanently, I decided I may as well do the Sleeping Tree Sap potions mod, and finish it already. Here are the effects: Slow speed 25, fortify health 100, drugged (all the default ones), as well as faster health regenerate rate by a magnitude of 55%, 30% stronger blocks, 60+ additional armor, and restore 2 health per second... All at the cost of... A 75% weakness to fire. Which will be an especially severe weakness for altmer, vampires, apprentice born characters, and especially altmer vampire apprentice sign characters.

So useful but... At a price, and one would have to be a dumner with no apprentice sign/vampirism to significantly reduce that penalty, and still be slowed significantly anyways.

I've downloaded and toyed with almost every Skooma mod made for Skyrim, and I have to say I like your changes the best. Straightforward but logical and interesting to actually put to use. This mod in particular does mesh well while keeping Redwater Skooma more interesting. Have any plans to do something similar with Sleeping Tree Sap?

Hmm well... That would be extremely easy to implement, if I have a basic idea. I think if I went through with that plan, I have two different ideas of how I'd implement Tree Sap to be different from Skooma and Redwater Skooma.

Possibility 1: Tree Sap now increases armor, block, health regen, and magic resist as well, but it makes you much much more vulnerable to fire... Because of the idea being that tree sap well... Makes you more like a tree. And like a tree being extremely tough against everything but fire. With 70% higher magicka regen/better blocking/70+armor+30+ health regen... At the cost of being 115% weaker to fire damage for the duration.

Possibility 2: Weaker offensive stats, but gain bonus armor, blocking and magical resistance for the duration. I think possibility 1 is much better, and makes the most sense... And I think I'd give it a value of about... 750. Since it's supposed to be more valuable than regular skooma.

Plus tree sap is flammable once the water evaporates.

The idea is perfect then I think it all makes perfect sense. That's exactly what I'll do when I have a little more spare time.

This is a weird idea, but what if you made it slow time, while making the player also slowed down by the effect? In addition to effects Possibility #1, that is. In addition to the graphic effect that already exists on Sleeping Tree Sap, that would definitely be... interesting.
