I know this is a really old mod and its probably just me but the shield is invisible in first person and when i tried to fix it, it then became invisible in third person. Also is invisible when viewing in my inventory and when trying to make it in the forge. rally cool design but I wish it worked. also also doesn't let me enchant.

If you're willing to do a little tinkering in the creation kit, making them into light armor is relatively easy. I'm no modder, but I have learned to edit a few values in it. If you need a hand I could try writing out instructions for it.

(Edited to clear) False alarm, ignore this comment, I apologize. I'll tinker with the mod some more to try to make it enchantable.

Update, I was correct before I cleared my comment.

I was able to make the shields enchantable, it was surprisingly simple.

I literally just had to add the ArmorShield keyword to the shields, and they were enchantable.

    Absolutely beautiful looking shield.

    I LOVE the design.

However, despite claiming it would be enchantable, it is not for me.

I cannot enchant these shields, which is a huge disappointment.

If I knew how to add that I would, but otherwise it's fantastic <3

Shouldn't a dragon scale shield be stronger/better than a normal steel shield?

      Read the comment above

"The density (not to be confused with strength) of wood makes it an ideal "arrow catcher" because arrows tend to pierce iron shields, but wood the head usually only buries itself to a point and simply stops. Against hammers and axes, though, you're toast.

While it's also good for ice dragons (extreme colds can make metal brittle) if you use that against a fire breather you may as well wrap yourself in oil soaked linen and jump up and down shouting "BARBECUE!"

Beautiful design, though. Love the dragon design. It's very nicely done, even if not lore-friendly (Skyrim dragons don't have separate forelegs/arms, but rather their wings serve this purpose as well, much like bats)." by Rage0976

actually a decent iron or steel shield CAN protect you from arrows. if its a piss poor made shield that is soft and brittle, than yeah, it can very well pierce it.

Nah metal is bad against arrows, they make square tipped arrow heads specifically for piercing metal armour but these same heads would not pierce leather or wood

If there's a possibility of getting Dual-Sheath support for this, I'd be all over it. Just so it can appear on the back.
