Thanks for this mod, I definitely endorse this!
This is great for very weak armors that you really want to wear.
I’m surprised more people don’t use this mod.

Thanks for the mod. Endorsed. Also, if you people want the enchantment strength set to 100, you can modify that yourself in the CK.

Update: As per requests, an optional version of the mod has been released that reduces the enchantment strength on the robes to 50.

Does that reduce the strength of the actual enchantment, like when you enchant things with it is it still 100?

And, version 1.1 has rendered the optional 50-point version obsolete; the strength of the base enchantment for calculating enhantment strength at the altar is now 50 regardless of what NPCs are wearing. Also, the enchanting apparel slot bug has been fixed.

This is just what the sorcerer ordered. Excellent mod that helps remove the crutch-need of Alteration's Dragonhide.

There was a bug that didn't add the proper formlists to the enchantment so it knew which apparel slots it could be enchanted to; the latest version uploaded has a custom formlist for the Protection enchantment that should allow it to be used in any apparel slot.

Also, the enchantment has been tweaked so that the bandit mages still wear 100-pt robes while the base enchantment strength at the altar is scaled to 50, so the need for the optional version of the file has been obviated.

      On to version 1.1!
