Very disappointed at this mod. The "Light" variant has no armor value unlike its heavy counterpart. Was hoping to give my light armor spellcaster better armor while keeping the effects from the archmage robes. But it did not.
I can confirm it doesn't recognize hooded archmage robes.. the only way in game to acquire unhooded variant is to use console commands..
sadly even using console commands for me the armor rating is still 0 on your variants.. this is probably my mod loadouts fault though, I have seen the same with the hd armored circlets mod. For this mod I tried to re-learn a bit of tes5edit but it doesn't show up as a conflict with anything using the default conflict filter settings.. really curios in which way you make this.. am totally dim when it comes to figuring out these things
Edit : I cannot help but feel if you made it conflict with something I might be able to fix.. is that wrong ?
p.s. still love the idea
edit2 : you know I must be getting my ass kicked going from "I might give this a go" to "I love this idea" haha
spookymunky i could add the unhooded robes to a chest in the archmages room or could add it as extra loot on savos arens body when he is killed at the end of the questline
I am sorely tempted .. The light version with just sewing in some dragon scales into the lining doesn't seem too lore unfriendly, and they are bulky anyway.. and magic... hmmm, might give it a go .
