Those who want this with another mod that alters Vampiric Drain:

-Open [whatever other mod you use] as active mod in CK. Don't open this one.
-Go to Magic Effects, under Magic
-Duplicate the "PlayerVampireAbsorbHealthConcAimed" effect 4 times.
-Optional but nice: edit them to be called "PlayerVampireAbsorbHealthConcAimedLvl[number]" instead of "PlayerVampireAbsorbHealthConcAimedDUPLICATE00[number]. If pop-ups come up, select no on the first (new record), yes to on the second (are you sure?).
-Open PlayerVampireAbsorbHealthConcAimedLvl1, press add script (right under).
    -Select VampDrainLvlUpDestr1Lvl from the list
    -Press OK.
-Now do the same with the other, following the numbering (PlayerVampireAbsorbHealthConcAimedLvl2 gets VampDrainLvlUpDestr2Lvl, etc)
-Go to the Spell, also under Magic
    -Open "VampireDrain01"
-Double Click "Drain Health : Health"
-Change Effect from PlayerVampireAbsorbHealthConcAimed to PlayerVampireAbsorbHealthConcAimedLvl1
-Do the same for VampireDrain02 to VampireDrain03, again using the corresponding numbers (VampireDrain02 gets PlayerVampireAbsorbHealthConcAimedLvl2)
    -Close all dialogs with OK
    -Save

The other mod that alters Vampire Drain spell (the one you needed to load as active file) will now also increase Destruction Spell. ESP of this file can be trow away. Scripts files should stay obviously.
I did this with Strong Vampiric Drain (Oldrim mod) and this mod, in the Skyrim SE editor, and works perfect in Skyrim SE.

Note that overal this mod still has a low XP gain, so don't expect it to fly up. According to UESP, even Sparks adds 26xp/sec, frostbite adds 23xp/sec, and flames adds 20xp/sec (apparently 14xp/sec with DragonBorn DLC). But at least you will get some, which is nice.

I made a patch for Sacrilege if anyone wants it. The patch uses Sacrilege's Vampiric Drain spells, but this mod's magic effects so they will give XP while maintaining Sacrilege's costs and damages.

Can confirm this works for SSE out of the box, doesn't need a port.

Technically, yes. But no. You really should re-save it in CK before usage. Otherwise your game could have problems.

would any kind of bashed patch that contains this mod as well as vampiric thirst allow them to work properly together or do they need to be merged separately

I was wondering if you could merge your mod with the "Strong Vampiric Drain" mod because i just can't sort it out how to do that.

This mod seems to work flawlessly with Skyrim Special Edition. Thanks again for your contribution!

One mod will overwrite another. You need to combine mods, if you know how to use CreationKit you can just copy scripts from this mod to any other you needed.

In response to post #17725294. #17742104 is also a reply to the same post.

i copied the scripts as best as my noob skills let me, (went into magic effects and created a new scripted skill via the pap manager) then applied the different level scripts to the different levels of drain, and it didn't work..... ill double check if better vamps introduced a different spell than the additions to the stock vamp drains though.

    **EDIT**

Woo, got it sorted, simply added the 3rd level of the script onto the magic effect of the "playervampiredrainstamina" magic effect, ill probably keep the 3rd level as i think for all it is OP now, i can use BYOG to curb its XP gain for now.

Well, glad to find someone, who managed to get it worked.

My skills with CK seem to be more noob'ish than yours. Can you please tell me what you did, or send me your modified files.
I have absolutly no idea what to do here. Can't even find which scripts are meant.

    Thanks.
