    i wanted to thank everyone for their comments and interest in this mod. you can do whatever you like with these files, this was a learning experience.

    updated to 1.8.1.1
    the current version is missing the mass tags and has some wrong hms values (for 1.8.1.1 at least)

    for your first mod, you did perfect. having looked at the esp, it's exactly what should have been done to make these two mods work.

      I noticed the "requiem for the indifferent.esp" you generate when running the skyproc patcher actually lowers the range scaling of daggers to lower values. From 0.7 to 0.45 or something ... can't really remember.

      This mod doesn't touch these values. But this means that they both decrease the range.People where already saying that daggers have a very small range ... which makes sense. But these together will probably make it a bit absurd.

      Just dropping this here ...

    I seem to be having problems with falmer; I cant hit them at point blank for some reason.

    nice. i tried Poly's mod awhile back and, while many changes were great and needed...some things it just seemed to break. like i literally couldn't hit anybody w/ daggers unless they were standing still. even impossible in sneak. and a guard or forsworn simply could not hit me w/ a short war axe or mace. i stood still and a bandit hit me like every 4th swing.

    so since you have been working on this, ya think you could make a non-Requiem version, but with only about half the altered distance of Poly's?
    or are there other mods that effect distance?

      Sorry I have no plans for a non-Requiem version. I figure there are more modders, who do not use Requiem, who could oblige you.
      Also thanks for bringing up issues from the original mod - I am still in the process of determining which ranges are 'just right'.

    I never payed attention to that and i play with a melee light armored build. I have to dodge most of the time, but again, i never noticed that. Maybe i got used to it, but f*#@ it, i will download your mod anyway.
    if it brings even more immersion in my game.

      I wouldn't go as far as to say Polymorpher's values are perfect, but I definitely think the ranges needed to be adjusted.
