Hey, nice mod on yours here. I'm using the original Shield Slam by elysees and yes I do have problem with making that mod works (Shield Slam didn't work). And I'm using yours, it didn't work either. I do think it's a mod conflict. I'm using Ordinator, xp32 skeleton, XY animations (if I type the name correctly) and mod that changes 3rd person bow mod (I don't remember the name, but the mod is kinda "fixing" 3rd problem when using bow, which the arrow, in vanilla Skyrim, would deviate far from the crosshair, and that mod fixes that. Sort of)

I think the conflicting mod is XY animations or 3rd bow crosshair mod. Can't say for sure, but if someone would help to check that, THANKS!

Hi! The Shield Slam does not seem to work on third person. Am I aiming wrong? I doubt this is caused by the Ordinator Perk Overhaul too since first person bashing works fine.

Does it not work whatsoever in third person? Are you using any camera mods? Anything that repositions the camera? This may also include .ini tweaks that you have made. If not, the only thing I can think of is possibly some animation mod that touches bashing/power bashing. Perk overhauls or anything of the sort will not affect this mod in any way (..unless said overhaul removes power bashing from the game). I'm not really happy with how aiming works in the mod currently, but it's functional and consistent. There was a bug in the original mod which often caused aiming/targeting to break when switching between first and third person view, but I haven't experienced this in my version of the mod.

Just picked up your mod for my Shield Maiden build and I can't stop grinning like an idiot at the first files description "because girls just want to have fun." Great mod. 11 on 10 would use again.

This is the link for Imbue Weapons: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32237/?
Would you mind taking a look to the mod and tell me if it conflicts with yours? Imbue Weapons mod add the Bloodskal effect to all weapons and it triggers when Power Attack. The thing is that I use an older version, in which version the Bloodskal effect is also triggered when Power Basing(I don't want the latest because I like the current I use). The effect it wasn't meant for Power Bas but it happened. That's why I want the opinion of someone who know things like this.

There should be no conflicts between this mod and the Imbued Weapons mod - this mod simply contains an effect with a script that checks whether the player has the power bash perk or not, and then waits for the power bash animation to be triggered. It doesn't override anything in the game's files, so it should be compatible with everything, even mods that make changes to the power bash perk (as long as they don't remove the perk). :]

I just tested this one and I am very pleased. I have Forceful Bash mod installed, which knockdown enemies with the simple bash. Now, yours works with Power Bash so, it completes the other one perfectly. I just have to decide which version to use.Thank you very much!
I also hope to not have problems with Imbue Weapons.

any chance of making it so you dont need a shield so it works with kickbash?

I think I'd be able to if I could find out the name of the animation event for kickbash. I'm not currently playing the game myself, but I'll give it a try at the very least when my mood agrees with me.

Edit: kickbash uses the same animation events as the vanilla weapon bashes. I was unable to find a way to incorporate this into the mod, for some reason not all weapons use the bashRelease event, and I have been unable to determine an alternative. For instance, power bashing whilst wielding a battleaxe works, but not a one-handed sword. Maybe some time in the future I will try to figure this out, but for now I admit defeat. I suggest using the Forceful Bash mod instead, it works differently.

Edit2: If you'd like, I *can* make it so it works with any weapon, but if I do that it wouldn't be exclusive to power bashing, it would trigger on any kind of bash. I can still give it a cooldown and make the power bash perk a requirement though.

Also, to add a comment. If you're looking to change the CD of the shield slam to something custom like 13 seconds or 0 seconds (I have it set to 1 second), you can just open the CK and look for the spell shield slam CD effect under magic. There you should have the option to edit the duration.
