With skin. without skin. could not get face tats. Installed earlier racemenu and guess what, they work. What would be the problem with the latest racemenu I wonder?
RaceMenu disabled face paints due to a bug when the character gets beheaded that causes the game to crash. Use a mod like VioLens to disable the beheading animation & you should be fine.
Go into skyrim/data/SKSE/plugins & look for nioverride.ini & change benablefaceoverlays=1 it is currently set to zero. Now you should be able to apply the face tattoos! Hope that helps.
Hey dude, good job, but I've got a question: how can I change the tatoos colors via Creation Kit? because I've be able to make a skin texture set for a race with these tatoos, but later they show transparent ingame. Look the image below to see. https://ibb.co/JBDSnXs
I know this is a very old mod, but I can't seem to get the face tatoos to show up. I have Racemenu, but I don't see anywhere to place the face warded tats. I even used a preset that used this mod and they don't show up
It doesn't make sense to me because all of the overlay files are the same. I think it has something to do with the Face Overly setting in the SKSE ini, but the current version of Racemenu is "busted", so i can't properly test it. Hoping to test after the patch for Racemenu soon. But still, let me know if you figured this out. I'd really like to not have to beg reddit to port this s*** so i can use it XD
INB4 more people ask, this mod works fine with SSE (for the most part). I personally use Vortex to install my mods, so s#*! is easy. I just installed this mod, launched my game, and found the tattoos in the race menu. The only issue i'm having atm is getting the Face tattoo to show up. not sure why it's not atm.
Oh, wow. Was *not* expecting a Warded Man mod to pop up. Love that series... at least, the first three books. Last two were... more than a little weak.
Was going to finally give SSE a try, but I might stick with the original just to try this mod.

And bless you for making a mod about it.
