This looks like an interesting mod i will follow it and try it out
    i have some input:
please in the mean time add an update that adds tons of ordinary loot to dragons.
I came across this mod because i was searching for a dragon-digestive-loot style mod, i wanna go up to the dragon and see guard armor, human bones, animal hides, various weapons, ancient nord gear (from when the dragon died years ago) baby dragon bones, ruined books, large animal meat, large animal bones - ie tusks, troll skulls etc.
The idea being that you can see what the dragon has been eating, some of which might save you from visiting craft-ingredient-shops

@georgejbps Jewelry is a good idea, but a lot of what I put in relies on whatever kid of textures I can make/get. I also want to make it more balanced by making reinforced armor really heavy. Reinforcing an entire set of armor and shield adds 59 lb.
@Kaindarkfire The armors are all a little better than daedric, and they all have the same rating. (Daedric chest base is 49, reinforced is 50) So reinforced steel is just as good as reinforced daedric. It requires the make perk because I want to make it hard to get, that is why it takes so many dragon bones.
@coinkidoink Thank you. Any motivation helps.
@Darip74 Dragon leather is a great Idea and Ill try to put that in their as low level ways of dragon loot.
@paulmcgann Thanks for the motivation. I do plan on making shields. Weapons are part of my secret dragon tooth plan. Your comment made me start looking into (free) 3d modeling software and how to but things in to Skyrim. Hopefully I will shatter all of your windows. If you or anyone you know wants to join in and help me make some models I would be happy for the help.

Believe me, if I had time I would definitely help.

For now, the 3D software you need is Nifscope and Blender. Both are free. Hope you keep going!

This is a FANTASTIC idea. Get yourself a good 3D modeler to tweak the armors' look too and this will not only become my favorite mod of all time, but I will jump through my living room window out of sheer excitement.

Here's another neat idea: Dragon bones and scales and such added to shields, weapons, and even as jewelry.

I'm tracking this. I can't wait for your updates. If you ever want to be part of a modding team, let me know. Your inventiveness in this alone is impressiv enough!

You do realize that dragons with the heaviest body can still fly due to the fact of magic. Also yes dragon bones may be hallow, but the scales need to be heavy enough to take the damage without failing. Also different parts of the body have heavier or lighter scaling. The belly and flanks would be the heaviest, while the top may be slightly lighter. Also the wings bones may be reinforce at the front were the main bone structure is, but the wings them selves would have a lightly scaled leather like material. Also where the wings meet the body, those muscle joints are lighter scaled so the muscles can move.

Lastly dragon leather could be used to reinforce light armors either as a leather under the main armor like chainmail. For example dragon scale can be backed with dragon leather and produce a better light armor.

That would be true...with "magic"...ANYTHING is possible! This game is based on persons very vivid imagination! So yes dragon bones and scales could weight hundreds of pounds and still be "forged" into wearable (and bearable) armor! The leather from wings is a excellent idea! Since "magic" is involved just the "leather" alone could be used to make a VERY protective outfit, WITHOUT the weight of bones and scales and still be supple enough to allow for plenty of movement. I was trying to bring a bit more "reality" to the game...doing it in a more thought out scientific manner. Of course If one uses the "enchanting table" to enhance items to make them stronger or lighter (or both!) "scientific reality" kinda goes out the window!

Doesn't make too much sense to need the max level perk to finally use all those dragon bones you've been hoarding in the vanilla game, but to use them to make slightly better versions of lower tier armors? I'm not about to tell someone what they "should" or "shouldn't" do, but the logic here is a little backward.

Nice idea...I would suppose that bones and scales (reinforced) will be used to make stronger armor. Then there is the dragonBone/Scale arrows, bows, swords, etc. (dragon heart scale arrows) I would venture dragon "teeth" should look like T Rex teeth. Probably ground down to make some alchemy ingredient to make a super potent for stamina or health or used as part of arrowheads. Could make enchantable jewelry out of it too! Lots of potential for "reinforced" armor. a bit far fetched to use dragon bone to reinforce steel though. Of course, weight is a big factor, One would want armor thats VERY protective BUT be as light as possible. If you consider a dragon is like any flying bird...it would have "hollow" bones to make it "lighter"! ( even T Rex had hollow bones!) Scales as on a snake are very strong but very light. The concept of a dragon having heavy bones and scales is all wrong! Think about it. if a few scales weighed 40 lbs. can you imagine what a whole dragon would have to weigh! Then add the weight of bones... IT WOULD NEVER GET OFF THE GROUND! much less fly gracefully through the air ! Ancient flying reptiles had hollow bones for a reason! Stronger and LIGHTER is the key factor here!
