very confused about the json file... I can't find it in any of my directories and nobody seems to be talking about it in any specific manner, any help at all? :/
*EDIT* figured it out, downloaded notebook + + and created a json file. dropped it in the skyrim folder containing data etc. and works like a dream :^)
Just have to come back after having actually played it and say this mod is absolutely great. Having each potion effect mentioned in its name now also allows me to search for them via SkyUI - excellent. Again, not sure why this mod doesn't have a few thousand more endorsements.
This mod works quite nicely as far as vanilla unique potions are concerned, but in regards to other mods may need custom tweaking.
Namely, I'm having issues with the Healing Poultrice from Requiem, which reads as (Healing poultice, Healing poultice...), as well as Spider Venom from Hunterborn, which isn't as bad (Frostbite venom & Paralysis). I would like to have them remain unrenamed.
For that I'd need ppnconfig.json file, but I can't find it in either Skyrim install directory, or data folder. I'm using Mod Organizer, if that matters.
I was somewhat confused by the directory, as I was used to having ini and settings files inside data or SKSE folders. But after creating a txt file in Skyrim directory, renaming it to ppnconfig.json and doing as instructed in the description everything works fine now.
This looks excellent. I've been bitter about this whole potion names thing ever since I got the game on the 360. Granted, I have yet to test it myself, but from where I'm sitting I'm not quite sure why you don't have few thousand more endorsements.
I just wanted to say thank you so much for this. It's especially useful with immersion mods that won't let you go into your inventory during combat - now you can tell which potion of frost resistance is just frost resist, and which is healing too!
Does anyone know if there's a mod that will do the same thing for player-enchanted items? I end up having to use a different style of ring for each enchantment I want to use, because I can't tell the difference between Silver Rings with lockpicking or +1h damage on the favorites menu.

Great mod! No flaws.
