I think you could do that. The statue and mask would have to be completely different objects. Then when the quest reaches the stage where your given the mask, you set the mask reference to get disabled.
And it is a little weird ... you want a scripted installer so that you can choose which one statues you want and which not? ... isn't that completly the same as just download every statue you want itself? (it might take 5 sec more though)

I wish I could use MO. It sounds great on paper but simply installing it was a nightmare. After that battle I couldn't get it to import from NMM. 30 minutes after that I needed a stiff drink, uninstalled and went back to NMM. I'm sure it's a fantastic program but it's also kinda mean.
I just want to say that I'm a huge fan of your work and that I've been shouting to the stars for quite awhile that I wished someone would go through the Daedric statues and bring them up to the standard of quality I have adjusted for the remainder of my Skyrim experience. That said; the biggest eye sore was the statue of ol Clavy. The related quest in Falkreth always lead to my starring at the statue and asking myself "what was Bethesda smokin at the QA office to let this slide?" The texture looks like something from Morrowind era and the mesh itself is a mix of odd angles and bad design. All the statues needed some love but ol Clavy was the worst in my humble opinion. I want to thank you for all the time, effort and thought you've put into these much needed improvements. Your work is greatly appreciated and has enriched my Skyrim experience.
