That is a bit unrealistic though don't u think? I mean you are still casting Magic so it is going to cost something

It's a preference thing more than a realism thing. Besides Magic is not exactly realistic.

      Floordan has a point.
Magic itself isn't realistic, in the real world at least, and the Utility spells don't do much to help you in a battle aside from Magelight/Candlelight helping you see your foes, and Clairvoyance does nothing to help you in battle whatsoever.

Thank you ever so much for this. I think I'll do a playthrough with this installed fairly soon. Ideally, I'd like a mod with just extremely reduced magicka cost (so that I still get the feeling that my character is doing something), but that's just my personal preference, and this mod gets close enough to the mark that I look forward to trying it out. The original magicka cost for utility spells seems wildly out of proportion in order for them to be useful, in my opinion.

      Hey thanks
If you're looking to reduce the magicka cost for everything, try this mod www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33395

It allows you to change almost every aspect of the game, but chiefly, for your purposes, there's an option in the magic section that lets you change the overall magic cost.
