DISCLAIMER: Performance for ENB presets will differ from user to user depending on your system specs. I have an underpowered computer and ENB presets give me a far greater framerate hit than they will other users
Your "Gameplay Performance ENB" in your 2nd download has an incorrect use of edits. (the Janessa Standing Stone was the one I saw) It looks awful there, I use it and it is completely better than that.
My computer isn't the best, so the effects should work the same.
Thank you for taking your time and create this comparison- Much appreciated (I will ofc stick with my favorite, Unreal final 236 that I must recommend here )
Many thnx evok for this. As some have said your own enb looks amazing and hope you upload some time. Personally I know I shouldn't use an enb because of my system as I get 30 fps indoors and 20 fps outdoors with the enb that I'm using but having come from the PS3 version of Skyrim, the fps hit is still so much worth it.
i imagine ambient occlusion and depth of field are the biggest hitters in your enb, as they usually are. make sure all AO quality settings are at their lowest. seeing as they all look exactly the same.
if your just using enb for the color, than you should use sweetfx. almost no performance hit, and can do all of the color modifications, and through careful tweaking, the "lighting"
Haha! I would love to hurry up, but I my computer sucks so much that it makes it very difficult to tweak my enb. I get a BSOD every 10 minutes. Someone help me buy a new computer and I'll get my preset out ASAP! lol I wish
How in Oblivion are the K's considered "performance" presets xD. More like bring your computer to it's knees performance for most people. Anyhow i'm just teasing, keep up the good work, this should help a lot of folks out.
As MACH mentioned earlier, perhaps it's a good idea to put a more obvious disclaimer that states performance will vary from system to system and that this is to help others with a similar set up to your own. I can see it from Mach's perspective where a user will read this and may accidentally perceive the performance as what it will be for everyone who tries it (and possibly miss your system specs listed entirely or not understand them). Just some "feedback" .
The K's aren't considered performance. I took my favorite ENBs, which include the K's, along with some performance ENB presets and compared them. That's all. I will be putting up a disclaimer.
You should try the new ones; the AO scale is jacked so high (like 3.7) that it cripples my 780 ti down to 14 FPS. It's an easy tweak but jesus christ kyo.
Hey Evok! I wanted to say that out of all these comparisons I think both joey4track amd your evok ENB are definitely the most bang for your buck (Performance AND great quality) -- Same could also be said of the modified Somber 3 preset -- where can you find that preset? Anyway, thanks for sharing these!
I also agree with what MACHII and some others have said -- a bold disclaimer might be a good idea. I've tried many, many presets myself with very different results.
