Somebody asks me to post my specs, so here we are. My specs when making this preset:
Xeon E3 1230V3 MSI GTX 670 PE 2G for testing Nvidia Card; PowerColor R9 290 PCS+ 4G for testing AMD Card DDR3 1600 16G RAM
I know that it's a kinda biased competition to compare the performance of 670 with r9 290; but the result shows that enb is optimized for nvidia card surely
The result of MSI GTX 670 PE running the default setting Exterior-> 28~40 FPS with 1K texture, SMIM, SFO 181b, Tamriel Reloaded 1.0 Interior-> 50~60 FPS with 1K texture, SMIM
The result of PowerColor R9 290 PCS+ running the default setting Exterior-> 34~48 FPS with 1K texture, SMIM, SFO 181b, Tamriel Reloaded 1.0 Interior-> 44~60 FPS with 1K texture, SMIM
Highly recommend to get the nvidia card to run Enb, not only concerning the FPS' sake, but for the stability of gaming; I mean, with r9 290 there will be some strange lags once you switched between first person and third person view with enb on, though not too noticeable, but still a kinda strange lag when Enb on and in exterior the lag in more noticeable when running or encounter enemies...(don't know whether others have this issue or not); with nvidia gtx 670 you can run Skyrim smoothly, I mean..., the stability of the FPS is quite a deal and impact for Enb, it's quite stable, no lag when switching between first person and third person view, no strange lag when running...etc.
Thank you! I made the same experience. I always thought that the massiv bandwith and core power of AMD cards would be a benefit but somehow...it's not the case.
This is a stick-post concerning all the progress of CR Enb from the release to the latest news and progress.
07/13 Please note that "CR Enb esp" and "Enb Snow Fx esp" must be placed after COT and ELFX related esp. files. ( These two above mentioned esps. are for 254 only; the exact esps' load order of 262 version please refer to the included picture in the rar. file.)
Feel free to upload your images. And if you would like to use my weather inis for your preset, just give me a credit Anyway, thank you for using my preset and hope you like it. ---------- 07/14->Small update:
Upload an optional file for those using wet body or sexy sport skin texture or those who don't like high specular value in the interior; yes, just interior...I will still stick to my exterior setting in a rainy day with high specular.
Btw, what do you guys would like to see in the next update? Just curious and will try to solve the COT weather problem, as some users report that after using the esp. the COT weather won't work. ---------------------Cannot upload my "Low Specular" rar. file! Yeah, just saw Nexus took such a long time (almost hours, I thought) to scan my file......
I just uploaded the low specular version to my dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j7xg7i56jl10s0v/CR%20ENB%20COT%20LowSpecular.rar
Please scan the file before using it (in case it contains malware), though I have scanned it on two computers with different anti-malware programs. --------------------- 07/15 upload a file named ana flare optional.
This file is for those who don't like the ana flare effect or would like to decrease the value of ana flare.
07/20 upload two of my previous 251 versions for vanilla and RCRN users who prefer immersion night in evening. ----------------------------------------------------------------- 09/02 upload 262 version with exclusive droplet effect, frozen vignette and all weather modified. (Special thanks and a big hug for Kingeric1992 for making the epic lens fx.) ----------------------------------------- 09/03 Low speculation version for Cinemablue and Realistic edition uploaded. Enjoy! ----------------------------------------- 09/07 Uploaded a package included two Optional Dof files; the one is a fixed version of former 262's overbrightness optional DOF, and the other is modified optional DOF with bokeh effect. ----------------------------------------- 09/25 Waiting for the new clouds effect from Boris...,then 3.0 will uploaded and with new DOF (better wait till next year, I think...; as I was kinda busy recently in real life and would like to play Dragon Age Inquisition in November...). Try to use others' enb presets if you are kinda bored with my 2.0 version and wouldn't like to wait too long for 3.0. Or maybe I should upload the new DOF first? ------------------------------------------------------------------ 264 Realistic Beta uploaded 10/31 Features: 1. Darkened interiors in day and night compared to 262 version with different color filters (different in middle filters, you know, I wouldn't do overall filter settings) for sunny day and rainy day (still don't know which filters should I apply in foggy days). 2. More beautiful interior settings in night compared to 262 version. 3. Glorious sunsets and sunrises (sunsets were finished; haven't finished sunrises yet, and still in testing the filters for the mornings) 4. Next-gen bloom. 5. Dof tweaks tutorial. 6. Darkened shadow for exteriors in all weathers. ------------------------------------------------------------------ 264 CinemaBlue Beta uploaded 11/01 Still doesn't support COT yet, but...well, looks great than 262
------------------------------------------------------------------ 11/12 Try to fix night eye in enbeffect, well, it works. Will consolidate them together for the next update and with as many color options for users to choose as possible, like green/blue/pinkish-blue/reddish/amber/cantaloupe...etc... ------------------------------------------------------------------ 11/23 Though still kinda early, I would like to state that all of the final versions of three presets will be available in Jan; and it did really took me lots of time to finish them in details, so be please be patient Let's talk about the features first: 1. Really dark night, but still do my best to preserve characters' skin tone in all darkened nights (except when your characters are under the shadow, you can't see your character as clear as outside the shadow). 2. Night eye and vampire vision fixes implemented.. 3. Darkened interior, yeah, darkened compared to 264 beta and saturated ambient light. 4. And other tweaks here and there fix some bugs. 5. The third preset, "CR Ken", will available soon with realistic tone for foggy and rainy days. 6. All of the presets will fully support COT. See you guys in next year -Cheers, CR- ------------------------------------------------------------------ 2015/01/02
CR Enb 264 Realistic and CinemaBlue Final Vers uploaded, please grab the old 262 dll or use your 264 dll as I haven't got time to test out the 265 dll and it seemed like it still had some bugs.

Some stuff I haven't finished (raindrops normal maps, new water esp, and new lens effect), so current status of CR Enb should be "272 beta" . But soon, the next update will come with our old pal, CinematicBlue, along with above mentioned stuff. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -Cheers- Bigeyescarl aka abc75179778300
Ah well, that's called DOF (Depth of Field, can be treated like the auto focus lens from cameras) effect. If you don't like that effect just simply disable it by opening your enbseries ini in your Skyrim folder (the same folder as where your SkyrimLauncher is); and find this line, EnableDepthOfField=true, then delete that true and type false. Remember to save after you make the change.
Hi Carl, amazing preset, perfect for my rig and screen ! I have one question, in interior i have the oily skin, and clean in exterior with the 265realistic preset. How can i tweek this to get a clean skin in interior, what value is it ? I don't want to try the optional ini because i fear breaking something in this perfect quality i have Thx for your work, a donation is definitly needed !
Follow the following steps for the clean skins in the interior=>
There are two ways to modify the specular amount for characters, one is by opening enb control panel and using the control panel to modify; if you have already known how to use enb-in game-GUI (by pressing your left-Shift and Enter), you can modify them easily by finding SpecularAmountMultiplierInteriorDay and SpecularAmountMultiplierInteriorNight under the OBJECT section. After alternating the values to your heart's content, then press "Save the changes" bar at the top of the control panel.
In case, you prefer the old way, here are the steps for manual set the values:
1. Find and open your enbseries ini (located in the same folder as SkyrimLauncher). 2. Search the the lines (SpecularAmountMultiplierInteriorDay and SpecularAmountMultiplierInteriorNight) by using Ctrl+F. 3. Alter them to 0.4 (default values are set to 1.44 if I'm not mistaken) and save the changes before quitting the notepad.
About donation, 'sor I did this for interest; so I will never accepted any donation(at least that's what I think for now, and as I'm kinda busy and haven't got time to mod my presets as you can see my releasing dates are delayed again, and again)
Ah, but the good news is...check back for the releasing of 269 preset let's say...next Sunday
Thx for the quick reply, yeah i'm doing the tweaking ingame its much easier. Ok ! it's the OBJECT section, i've tweak the specular interior in the environnement section but it does nothing Thank you for the info, and yeah i will be there for the next MAJ ! Have a good week.
*All of the 305 presets are tweaked individually* *Come along, Realistic Water 2 and Pure Water esp remake with different regions water colors, and CoT 5.0 esp remake through CK with corrected sky colors*
My final tribute to enb community and Skyrim. Sorry for not responding any post atm, got load of things to do in real life
Just started using this ENB yesterday and it is the best ENB i've ever used. All textures look so clear and detailed. Skies are beatiful and nothing is washed out. Cant wait for these presets. Amazing work Carl.
When I installed it (without trouble) first thing I did was the fullscreen borderless option , but for some reason after changing it 5 or 6 times I still can't remove those black borders from the screen. I did try changing it by myself on the ini file , changing the resolution of the game and nothing seems to work , any suggestions please?
I seem to have a problem with the 308r version, i install it correctly but my game keeps stuttering and flashing black all over the screen. Any idea on how to fix this?
There stuff in ENBLocal that you need to configure to suit your hardware ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false // I dunno who the heck want to turn this on and cause more crash EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=true // fix stutter MaxAnisotropy=4 // 16 kill a lot of fps AddDisplaySuperSamplingResolutions=false // don't enable unless you have NASA computer EnableVSync=true // off if dont want [ADAPTIVEQUALITY] Enable=false // why turn this on? FixLag=true // STRICTLY FOR NVIDIA ONLY, it will lag AMD
Hey. I'm installing the ENB right now but I'm having trouble understanding what the mod author wants us to do. So the CoT weather patches are already covered, but what about Vivid Clouds and Fogs? Should i install that mod's CoT patch?
Hello, I´m really new to ENB's, and after installing this one, it said "Error, you need to set bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 in skyrimprefs.ini" or a message like that, but my skyrimpref.ini configuration is alredy set in bFloatPointRenderTarget=1. What could I do to solve the problem? Thank you very much.
The only thing I wish the mod author would do is, not to carry over the bloated posting style from Chinese forum. Consolidate the information please, make it shorter, concise, and not confusing.
Btw, running both CR Weather Patch CoT5dot0.esp & CR Extended Weathers CoT.esp is crashing my game before main menu is loaded. Only picking one of above seems fine.

Honestly, I have been waiting for the release for a long time, checking the website every other week
That record was made by my friend not by me, and in the CR Enb 272 video showcase he ran my preset at stable 60 FPS with GTX 980Ti SLI with Ultra ini.

Please note that "CR Enb esp" and "Enb Snow Fx esp" must be placed after COT and ELFX related esp. files. ( These two above mentioned esps. are for 254 only; the exact esps' load order of 262 version please refer to the included picture in the rar. file.)
