    Hello,

This mod looks cool. I don't understand the fomod questions. Is v1.2 a good alternative or would i have bugs?
Can I otherwise take the main esp. out of the fomod and install that one with my manager? I don't need any of the patches.
Do you have a changelog? Tx!

In the exterior shot, which mod adds the house behind the millhouse?

Glad there's a patch for ETAC. What about JK's Riverwood? Would this be compatible or need a patch too?

Edit: I took a chance and installed it with JK's Riverwood. They both seem to work great together! They totally blend.

Extra note: I have Zora Fairchild from Interesting NPCs living in Riverwood by using My Home is Your Home. She's set to sleep in Leafrest at night and roam Riverwood by day. When she was roaming she went all the way across the bridge and came to work on the Riverwood Millhouse porch. Great to find a combo of things that flow together so well.

Ohhh! Nice. Was looking for a decent starter home for my next character.

    Very cool. Thanks for this.

Ooooh! I love homes with Windmills!

By any chance is this one of those homes that "already belongs to you right out of the gate"? Or do I have to buy it or something?

As it's my first mod, and purely a starter home, it's yours to move into for free.

    New version uploaded.

Fixes a few overlapping stones on the exterior.
    Removes enemy indicator.

Took me a while of searching to find what was causing the indicator to come up. Finally it turned out to be the map marker.
    An enemy map marker? Really?

i have the leaf rest player home opposite this area and the enemy marker seen from there is a crab that spawns there and wanders about between the waterfall and near to the end of the riverside bridge.
      hope it helps.

Heh, thanks for that but i've discovered since that it was down to not naming the map marker correctly. Not doing so causes the map marker to display as a red dot instead of a recognised icon. I killed the crab in my mod. :p

I really enjoy your intent. The outside of the house is beautiful, however, due to several issues I will be uninstalling. I found several overlapping (thus flashing) stones, outside. When I entered the house itself, my game began to lag, and I found many overlapping (flashing) boards on floors and walls, and in the forge area I could see outside of the house through the wall itself. A couple of these issues are auto-uninstall for me. Once you fix the house, Ill come back and get it.

    *Edit

Oh I meant to mention that in the front yard, I have a red dot (enemy indicator) but there is nothing there. I cant kill anything to make it go away, so I am stuck with the dot. That gets on my nerves, or it did before I uninstalled.

Yup, I will try to pinpoint that enemy source soon, and will fix those two overlapping stones at the same time.
Not sure why you're getting lag inside though or why you're seeing many overlapping floors & walls. The interior is the basic Riften blacksmith model. And no idea why you can see through the workshop wall. I'm not seeing either of those, and no-one else has mentioned those before now.

Excellent thing! I went through my check-list (y'know - forge, tanning station, enchanting dwhici...) that I use for any potential new home before I sneer and dump it... and try as I might I only came up with two whinges (and by that I mean totally unrealistic, and almost imaginary, faults)

All of the "facilities" are there (and in the same room, I might add) with suitable (thankfully unlabelled) storage, but the chopping block is outside, whereas there is a perfectly reasonable place under the stairs. Then again, it is in a perfectly reasonable place for the (presumptive) dragging of fallen branches from trees etc., whence you would get the wood in the first place (I don't insist that I have permanent iron ore veins in the cellar, do I?)

The Safe Has Goodies In. A ring worth 300 septims? Game-Breaking! (OK, can you tell I'm not being entirely serious here? If I really objected, I would make it an offering to Riperia the lesser daedra of streams and rivers. Available for your convenience Just Outside The Door)

As I said fie upon thee for not giving me more to whinge about. Endorsed, voted for and totally re-arranging my game so that i use it as a primary homestead. (I just have to pre-resurrect Alvor first...)

    All-in-all I'm just annoyed that I cannot find more fault with it ;-}

      Praise indeed. Thank you!
I too hate having crafting stuff all over the place. Gets a little tedious doing something, and then having to go down loads of passages to to do something else. But yeah, I left the chopping block outside so the poor followers could at least get a bit of fresh air. And do some milling, and fishing...
And the ring is there just as a small token gift for the next owner.
Oh, you'll find the iron ore outside, behind the mill. :p

Glad it'll be of use to you.
