I love this more than i love my family. Is there any chance this could be armor and not be transparent though?

Sorry, but it's transparent! Skyrim version 1.9.32.0, all 3 dlcs, no other clothing mods installed yet.

The hat isn't included, but that particular style dates back to the very late 1500s, as does the base for the tricorne.

I feel like the white shirt needs a shading , it feels pretty plain, without texture, the mesh is all good tho.

*Sigh* Well, as soon as the error thing clears up again for a bit, I'll grab this real fast to check it out.

    EDIT: YAY! It downloaded!
This is actually a pretty cool use of the mage robe. It looks good. On the pure white parts, if you darken those down just a bit, the details will show up more. Pure white and pure black cause problems for most game engines with showing details.
If you darken it down to about the value of the light gray in the lower left of your diffuse texture, it should let the normal map do its job better.

Sure thing. You're off to a good start!
I can't count the number of times I've forgotten to change a color from pure black or white to a more subdued value, only to be scratching my head when the normal map details aren't showing in game lol. I'ts pretty much habit now, but just the other day I found out that I had forgotten to change the color on a veil I did like a year ago. All this time I thought I had missed something in the shader settings.
