1 BIG problem with this mod due to the pathfinding it bugs the main quest .... after leaving Miraaks temple Frea never reached Storm so no conversation.... tried it twice with this mod enabled ... disabled the mod and all was ok.
Weird, I've done that quest with it installed several times and I haven't run into any issues with it. I touched almost none of the navmesh outside the house other than the garden area and what the house was directly on top of, and Frea isn't supposed to path over those areas anyways. Not sure what would have caused that issue for you or how it could be resolved.
Yeah I def didn't touch any braziers, and I don't use ELnFX but I do use Climates of Tamriel, so it may be a load order thing. Try flooping it around a bit and see if it helps.
I know this may seem tedious and like every bad tech support call out there, but did you follow HMA's procedure?

To move into a custom home: - Visit the home and cast the "Bless Home" spell while there. If the home is blessed, it will become your new custom home. - Now talk to your spouse or your children and move your family to the new home. - You can also directly adopt kids to the new home.
I will be downloading it but I don't think I have found this place yet, what is this place near and what part of the map? looks like the coast? or a lake? I thought I had been everywhere but I guess not yet. thanks for the garden and being able to look at it while keeping warm.
Skaal Village is a part of the Dragonborn expansion, on the isle of Solsthiem near the NE corner. I didn't add that to the description because I figured everyone knew where Skaal Village is (oops)
ah that explains it I haven't gone over there yet for "personal reasons" which aren't really secret, I just enjoy killin the cult guys too much to make the trip because I figured they would stop coming after me after I went over. Yes I admit to being a cult troller from way back. and thanks for the mod , you should do more I encourage you to make a huge spralling farm/ranch north of Whiterun across the road from that shanty "Battle born" place. maybe place a big pong with a spring feeding it at the base of the "MIST cave" and then have it run thru the farm south to almost the road (at least half way) and then turn it to the river so plenty of water for irrigation and livestock. just a suggestion of course a 2 story with big cellar and several out buildings for stock etc.
how about an accurate map? looks good and vote for windows too are you planning to expand? like more garden LOTS more garden maybe 4-6 cows n goats (both so 8-12 total) and while we are at it how about a cellar with a distillery? yup that's what I call LIVING watchin the carrots grow, listenin to the cattle louw in the fields and drinkin home made really it looks good but where is it> exactly as I have 28 other homes
Its the first house on the right when entering Skaal Village from the main path. I do not have plans for expansion as there is no room for it and this is not meant to be a large house/manor/estate. As for brew, the keg by the door to the stairs is a hearthfire mead barrel - so you can get from mead from it periodically.
Honest answer is because the house model I used didn't have windows upstairs. If the fact that it doesn't match inside and out doesn't bug you I can certainly add some
