NOTE: This is a very old modder's resource by tumbajamba, I changed the textures and put it in game.
I did not steal anything from the author of Warrior Within Swords (considering I don't even like his models).
The modder resource can be seen here: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/27275/?

This mod looks very interesting, but the big question is this. How and/or where do you acquire them? I can't seem to find them anywhere at all >~<

Now, that handle looks mighty like the hilts of vanilla Oblivion Elven short swords.

Are you certain the mesh you adapted wasn't originally made with vanilla meshes? This might be technically illegal.

Would you be porting this over the Special Edition by chance? I quite enjoy using this one

Once I figure what it takes to port the mod, of course!

Is this mod (the ported model + the texture) also available as a modder's resource, as long as we credit you? If not that's cool

Yes. Credit goes to me for porting, but also to tumbajamba for the original mesh.

Any possibility you could make a left hand mesh for use with Dual Sheath Redux?

Haven't got much time in my hands at the moment, but I'll surely consider the request for future modifications.

Hey this looks like a good idea for elven weapon replacements was there a matching sword and great sword to go with it? I can't stand the default elven swords and daggers.

Ok just so it's clear: This isn't my mesh nor has it got any part of my model in it, so he didn't steal anything from me. Also since I see it's a matter of debate here: I made mine from scratch, I didn't use that resource, it's VERY (laughably) badly made and it would only hinder rather than help me.

It is an oblivion's mesh, of course it is not good as a skyrim's mesh you genious.
      But thanks for clarifying.

The blade looks nearly identical to Warrior Within Swords (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35577/?). Not to be rude but it is very suspicious.

More like elven blade of woe, but I personally like it though...

      From description:
"I have remade two main swords from Prince of Persia Warrior Within because I'm awesome. Both have HD textures and pretty much identical to their original concept, from their general shape, to the smaller details like blade cracks, chips, etc.
      ...
I usually do not care that much about the mods I release, but I have put a lot of work into these two swords so please do not modify/reupload without my permission. Thank you and enjoy ! "
      - Jmenaru

Maybe he's lying, I don't know, I'm not accusing you of anything.

The model is an old oblivion modder's resource by tumbajamba.
      Check it for yourself: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/27275/?

      yeah, saw it: http://static-1.nexusmods.com/15/mods/101/images/27275-1-1265145632.jpg
so you used a resource, ok, but that doesnt mean he used it (maybe he did, i dont know) and, you shouldn't say "He is lieing" without actual proof.

      Anyway, it looks good

Ok, I stand corrected. Still, there should be a link to said resource or at least a mention of it in the description.

Not really accusing anyone, but his model looks identical to the modder's resource...just this
And I did put the credits in the description

what doesnt make sense it that he has some wip shots of making the highpoly, sculpting, texturing etc, and using just the very basic model from the resource is a bit of a nonsense as it takes a minute.

Look, I personally don't care much about what he does and if he has stolen something or not, that's his business.
All I'm saying is that I did not steal anything. End of the discussion

All good then. Sorry for what I said English isn't my native language and "resource diffusion" is a peculiar way of saying that.
Btw it really does look good.
