not compatible with NMM D: Does not trigger the installation dialogue when installed via the NMM, just dumps the installer and mod folder all into the Data folder.
If you have bought the dvd disk version you can change the whole instal path. Like: C: SK Besides that is also possible for the Steam version. There is a tutiorial here on the nexus how to do it. Has nothing to do pirates, but with wanting a short path length.
How shorter the path, the better for back up, etc. because Windows still has very old fashioned a max charakter path length.
Sorry to everyone that download this tool and wanted to use it to install a mod to an alternate steam folder on a differnt Drive, i will be updating this tool today which will allow the user to specify a Drive letter.
Just a personal observation, but you might get more traffic if you made the name a bit more clear in explaining what the mod does.
Something like 'Mod Installer Creator' as opposed to just 'Mod Installer'. The latter makes it seem, at a glance, like this is an attempt to make a tool along the lines of NMM or MO.
