Please read the entire description page before posting a comment. Most questions will be answered by doing so.

Comments regarding the mod being too powerful or a cheat will be removed since I address these issues thoroughly in the description. There are six versions to choose from to fit your individual play style. Choose the weak version if you want a slight improvement over vanilla.

Please be respectful when posting. I hope you enjoy this mod! Thank you to those who took the time to download, install, and endorse the mod!

    Happy Gaming!

I just wanted to point out that Ulfric Stormcloak himself, despite what Elisif says ('Shouted him apart, he simply vanished' (not exact wording lol)), says that he simply shouted Torygg to the ground; his sword killed him, not a shout.

Pointless, but I thought that I would point that out. It's weird that they say that people were in audience... yet they called it murder... yet Torygg accepted the challenge... yet Ulfric himself denies having such power to shot him to peices, despite what everyone else is saying. Either Ulfric is lying, or the information is just really inconsistent! Also, if he murdered him in cold blood, why didn't anyone stop him?

Ugh. This isn't the place for such discussions, but when you mentioned 'lore' I thought "Whose?"

Trying out your mod since you were nice enough to reply to my concern on another mod page . This one really gets my attention and I can't wait to try it. However, i'm using a new perk system that effects the cooldowns of perks. Any idea if it will effect your mod?

Uhm? Marked for death IS useful. -4500 armor over 60 seconds makes you a god with physical damage. Unrelenting force is one of the strongest shouts in the game. Some offensive shouts like frost breath and fire breath are weak, i agree. I also agree that the cooldowns are too high.

      "-4500 armor over 60 seconds"

That's true if you play without the unofficial patch, which fixes that bug. The shout is supposed to lower the target's armor rating by a set amount instead of continually stacking over time. This stacking is what leads to the absurd power of this shout in Vanilla Skyrim-

I'll admit this is not a mod I'm interested in, but to each his own. I just thought your point about Marked for Death needed clarifying.

"Unrelenting force is one of the strongest shouts in the game."

dukesilver28 addressed the Marked for Death comment so I'll focus on this one.

I can do more damage with an iron sword with one swing (playing a warrior) compared to the damage of the Unrelenting Force shout with all three words. The stun affect of Unrelenting Force is so short that it is barely helpful. It can help to interrupt attacks.

Unrelenting Force has a default cool down of 40 seconds with all three words activated. In 40 seconds I can do 100x the damage with an iron sword. I strongly disagree with your statement.

Um... I don't think you're using it correctly. Unrelenting Force is very powerful CC, and when used correctly and in conjunction with terrain can kill very powerful enemies in one hit. Keep in mind that the angle you hit the enemy with will determine a lot. A dead-on shot will knock them back a bit, but an up-angled shot that clips their head will launch them upward, sending them back much farther and eve over railings and barriers. Knock enemies into traps, into other enemies (Fus Ro Dah'd a Bandit into a Giant camp once... d: ) into water, or just remove an advancing crowd for a moment so you can heal up and spawn a couple Dremora, etc.

Also, 40 seconds gets reduced to 24 with the amulet and blessing of Talos, and 16 with Dragon Aspect...

Basically if you think it's weak, you're just not being creative enough with it. Just blindly comparing damage is missing the point, I'm afraid. It's not a damage effect, it's a CC effect, and at that it's very powerful when used right.

Everything you describe is very situational. Most of the time I'm in a dungeon or when outside I'm not near a cliff or water feature. The long cool down delay limits it's use. I use an enchanted amulet and you don't get the dragon aspect enhancement until later in the game.

Everyone has their own opinion (one is not more correct than the other). I personally disagree.

      * shrug * I'd rather attack an enemy who's stunned and trying to get up than one who's blocking my blows and counter-attacking, but I guess it's just playstyle...
