Unless it hits something vital an arrow usually isn't fatal. I like to think that Lokir stayed down and pretended to be dead then ran away during Alduin's attack, probably leaving Skyrim as soon as possible.
i give you credit for making him a follower but.....logically "how could a few arrows kill this thief" when you look at his character and he's wearing just rags.....no armor.....no protection....and he had his back to the arrows which means they should have killed him.....lol but that's just me
It's actually not as uncommon as you'd think. The bow was most effective when used en masse. A single arrow is by comparison just a long distance stabbing where the knife isn't retrieved. Which is one of the things that makes stabbings much easier to survive. He's shot three times, depending on how shallow it is & what they hit? Yeah, he could definitely leave under his own power. He'd need to leave the arrows in & get medical attention though.
this make a lot of sense, EVERY time i start he get shot in the left ankle, the back of his right knee (and the arrow goes through the other side like ouch) and in the right buttock. hardly fatal but man like ouch and he lands face down but resting on his side facing away from the camera with his arms by his face. the first time he went down i totally thought he was faking it.
A funny concept. It would be fitting with the irony often displayed in the game for Lokir, the first character killed on-screen, to in fact have survived the wounds which caused the player to write him off as dead, and ended up being one of the only survivors of the Helgen disaster.
My Lokir usually gets hit in the leg by the archers so having a mod where he really does survive is great. Oddly he beat Ralof & I to Riverwood. I found him in the shop there.
While I love the idea of the mod, I just wish he functioned more like a follower. Right now I can only use him as a pack mule, I can't equip him or tell him to wait - which would be nice as I wouldn't want him to die the moment we get attacked.
that happens in every playthrough i've had since the game came out. they always hit him in the ankle, one shot, and he goes down. the only time i've seen them hit him more than once, was when i put him as essential via console just to see what he'd do or where he'd go, which was run around in a circle at the end of that lil corner where he's hit.
1st time i played he got shot in the head. 2nd Time it was in the back. 3rd,4th, and 5th it was in the ankle, In my current playthrough it went past his head and he fell over! I guess in my current playthrough he tripped and fell unconscious.
I reloaded a random save I had and Lokir appeared out of no where and began following me. When I spoke to him he just said things like " Divines bless your heart", there was no options or anything. He now follows me around fist fighting things.
