I have to say, on top of it being a simple, yet very useful player home, one of the most unique features that I love about it is the location of it! Dead center of skyrim and near whiterun, etc. Love it!
if you like simple and useful homes, i have a request, back in oblivion there was a house, with too many frills maybe, but that had a really good and useful idea, it had a pile of mini-chests stacked into one closet that were named and used to manually sort your items
light armor, heavy armor,1handed weap,2handed weap, bows, arrows, shields and separate chests for enchanted versions of each of the previous categories, that was well really practical (for hoarders like me lol) and also helped browsing because oblivion didnt like 1000 items in one chest like skyrim can do lol
@rafoscon: his goal was not to mess with the exterior but only have one 100% useful room, the outside is a vanilla destroyed house if you want VERY good looking simple and handy houses try Elianora's house http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/3231858/?tb=mods&pUp=1 (not the argonian house sadly, it looks great but has bugs and she doesn't support her old mods, the beginner shack is really good, has a weird glowy enchanting table for me tough, thornrock is a bit like-minded with fakecigars house except it's much bigger in size)
Yeah that sounds useful. But If I add a closet, that would technically be two rooms! I might just do a "Wall of Chests" kind of deal to keep the core concept intact. We shall see.
a tiny req. ! , can you add a little exterior terrace with a couple of chairs ?. (that would be better on a little watchtower with an open terrace. simple and handy endorsed.
HA! f*#@ those giants and bandits. Now I can troll them and the Murmlrlmlrmlmrlmr dragon from the beginning of the game too. Sweet deal. Will endorse when Nexus lets me. C:
