Has anyone else gotten the tanning rack bug where it won't let you activate tanning racks, smelters, smithys, etc? I know the camera pans out to run the animation and after playing with this mod installed for about 2 hours suddenly I can't activate anything. Not sure what happened.

So... There won't be any clouds that "follow" the camera i.e. the player?
I never noticed that in vanilla, to be honest.
Will this have any effect on normal playing without Night Eye or Realistic Nights?
Right now I cannot think of why Bethesda would have clouds that seem to glimmer when seen under the effect of Night Eye against a very dark background.

You don't need this mod unless you use Realistic Nights. When the ambient lighting is reduced to very low levels the textures for the "camera attachments" stand out like a sore thumb. You do not need this mod either if you don't use nighteye.

The only effect if you don't use Realistic lighting or nighteye is that you will gain a few FPS.

    Have you tried this: http://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1499
even if you don't have any ENB config?

Yes I have, one of the first things I tried. It did not work with Realistic Nights. Thanks for the suggestion though.

So this gets rid of camera possible positions? Can you make a video showing movement?

It does not effect camera position at all. It just removes fog banks, leaves, and that fluffy stuff that floats around at night but looks like light bulbs when you use nighteye.

I have never made a video before. I might try, no promises though.
