Theres a quick fix for the reach being 8.5 not 0.85 in the files section.
Just activate it after the Short Sword. Say no, 'install as normal' if a different version has been detected and say yes to overwrite 'KWShortSword.esp'.

Love this sword so much! been using it for years now and its still one of my favourite 1Hs! I am curious, would it work in skyrim SE? I know some weapon mods work out as they are but apparently they need to be updated or some.
dude the reach of the sword is absurd xD i can cut the guards from 25 meters away with no pyshical contact. i looked it up at tesvedit and it was like 8.5. one handed sword reach is 1 dude lmao
Hey! I just used this mod to build a character and i love it! Cool textures and looks! I found a bug though, i dont know if this is only for me or it is a bug in the mod, but the range seems to be too long, like if i swing the sword to an enemy that is 10 meters away they get damaged anyway i can even kill enemies from the top of a hill, or kill archers without getting close... If you could fix that it would be cool but until then i'll try to keep using it and not exploit this bug : P
The only thing that bothers me about this sword is that the cross-guard is upside-down. Bad design. If another blade slid down this cross-guard, your hand would be in trouble.
Alas, something to supplement the lack of decent short swords in Skyrim! As, even after those few years passed the game is still going strong, would you mind posting a version that would benefit from the steel smithing perk? It would make the sword a feasible option on later levels as well.
Hello, First of all very nice work. But here I have a small problem. I would like to have the two swords in the back, but unfortunately this is not the case. I specify that I have DSR and that I have installed lot of patches for DSR as you recommend it.
I realy like this weapon its awsome unfortunatly it doesnt have a scabbard/sheath like steel swords, etc i realy dont like this type of scabbards with only a piece of leather to hold it, if someone in the future makes a different scabbard ill surely come get it, ty keep up the good work
