This looks an awful lot like a sword of the same name for sale at museum replicas is it the same sword?

Accolade is sold in a few places, but yes Museum Replicas is one such. Though I'd probably go into battle with the battle ready version this one would be as opposed to the show piece stuff Windlass Steelcrafts sells through MRL.

for whatever reason this mod seems to be giving me the big finger when trying to get it to work with DSR even though it says its meant to ready out the box for dual sheath mods.

well, it does include the meshes needed for it to work and i did them following the tutorial made by the author of DSR and last time i checked they worked for me...
So could you be more specific about the problem? are you sure the problem is my mesh and not dsr itself or some other mod conflicting? do you have a decent framerate? (low framerates can mess up scripts)

I haven't updated dsr for a long time so there is also the posibility that newer versions of dsr require some other change to the meshes that i haven't done as it works right for me, but i doubt it, what version are you using?

Ugh I found the problem seems the latest DSR requires LOOT and not BOSS anymore been a while since I last played skyrim seems I've gotten behind the times in 6 months. Sorry my bad.

It's not shiny enough. Make it shine. Great craftsmanship by the way. It's just not shiny enough.

I would say the scabbard isn't supposed to be made of leather

      Because it is wood.

yeah, if it looks like wood, probably it's because it was meant to be wood. Now, if you ask why i decided to make it wood instead of leather, i was simply bored of steel and leather, it was looking a bit too much leathery, so i thought it would be enough to have leather in the grip and the thing that holds the scabbard with "accolade" embossed on it. Also i wanted to make wood, its the first wood texture i make from scratch, no photos used.

What materials are used in making a sword scabbard, anyway?

Historically? Wood, usually covered in leather.

I don't need a specific forging perk for this sword, right?
