It's very handy, but I think the picture quality could be improved by a lot. It's still usable, but it's hard to read sometimes. Still, excellent add-on.
any chance of making an alternate version of this mod that adds the book and map to the stores that you can purchase?... instead of a chest that sits on the ground?.....I'm funny like that. I'd like to use this mod but not with a chest sitting in the dirt.
Request... Maps of Skyrim, for orienteering or just travelling. Sort of like the real ones you get in life, as opposed to the sat-nav styled ones in Skyrim. . I'd like to be able to travel, using just a map book to work out where I am. A full map of Skyrim on the first page, that expands to fill the screen. Then other, smaller maps that show the roads and villages. I know that you'd still have to use the standard Skyrim map for to find out where you have to go to, as they have destinations and waypoints. . I use Frostfall on hardcore, and the Roadsigns Redone mod. .Frostfall on hardcore prevents fast travel, and better signs gives me roadsigns that actually tell me where to go, as opposed to marking only a few locations. . I think a map book, with multiple maps would be great for immersive mods.
The are a couple of mods that let you make you own books out there, one of them allows you to create books with images I know, but your idea is a good one, maybe I will give it a try
Hey nice job on this, I often wait near the new stable/carriage stop locations till one shows up, I never noticed the map near Whiterun stable for like two months after using Touring Carriages. This is a nice handy mod.

Will try out next time I can load up a Touring modded game.
