How To Use With Frostfall 3.0:
The frostfall options you see during the patching process are exclusively built for version 2.7, the new system does something different.
The options should be greyed out anyways,but if for some reason they are not then make sure that all options are unchecked, or uncheck frostfall's esp in your load order before patching.
Hi everyone. I'm sticking the TES5Edit 3.2 compatibility fix here until it is properly addressed in the future. Please follow these instructions provided by the community.
1) Get notepad++ (free) at: download.cnet.com/Notepad/3000-2352_4-10327521.html 2) Open RSPatcher.tes5pas 3) Use "Find..." (Ctrl+F) and search for "3.1" which will bring you to this line: if Pos('3.1.',tempS) = 0 then begin 4) Just change the 3.1. to 3.2. and the patch will work.

- Go to the "R.S.Patcher" folder in your Skyrim Data Folder - Right click "RSPatcher.tes5pas" and click "Open with" the program Notepad - You may have to select "Choose default program" and find Notepad under "Other Programs";
- Once the file is open click the Edit Tab and click (Go to...); - Type in 779 then click ok and find the sentence beginning with "if Pos('3.1.', tempS) = 0 then begin"; - Replace '3.1.' with '4.0.' if you're using TES5Edit Version 4.0.x (x being any number); (Future viewers: If your TES5Edit Version is 4.1.x or 5.3.x then you need to replace it with '4.1.' or '5.3.');
- Save the changes and close notepad; - Right click "RSPatcher.tes5pas" again and click "Open with" and "Choose default program", then select TES5Edit.exe and click Ok at the bottom. Doing this opens the program/patcher with TES5Edit and changes the default program for this file back to TES5Edit so that you can run the patcher whenever you need to in the future;
- Once the patcher is open Click Ok, then when the patcher prompts you click "create patch" at the bottom; - Follow the prompts during the patching process until it is done patching and then close it; - You're done FREEEEEEEEEEDOM!
____ ^^^^ DeusX7: I improved on the directions above provided by "AlKira and Plorce" for future versions of TES5Edit so that others don't go through the same headache I went through making it work for my version of TES5Edit: I tried replacing '3.1.' with '4.0.1.' (tried editing line 780 too), then tried '4.1.' with no success and then finally succeeded with '4.0.' when I realized the 3rd digit was irrelevant after the second decimal point
Can't believe there's no similar mods in Special Edition, doesn't people get annoyed by the rain drops? This mod had gave me so many good memories, thank you.
It sorta works? I'm using Azurite Weathers Lite, and the rain is okay. It works flawlessly, no complaints there. But when it comes to snow, it's a different story. The transitions of the snow when I find some shelter ain't that great.
Go to your MO install folder, find the Mods file, then look for the Real Shelter folder containing patcher. I linked it to the drop down just like LOOT and FNIS, and ran it from there.
"RSPatcher.tes5pas"... I.... don't see any file that has that name or anything related to that name in the 3rd sticky you mentioned. Did you mean the script file, the .PAS file or the Windows Batch File?
I faced the same issue but ultimately got it to work. I assume you're on MO2? If yes, you will find the file you need in MO2's installation directory inside > "mods\Real Shelter - Full Release\R.S.Patcher" instead of skyrim data folder. Then go through all the steps as provided. Refer to the "Mod Organizer Users!" under "Installation" in the Description tab, follow all the steps. Also, make sure both TES5edit as well as MO2 are set to "run as administrator".
I should point out, I did not get what "Type in 779 then click ok" meant, couldn't find anything under that, maybe that was for an older tes version. Just search this > "if Pos('3.1.', tempS) = 0 then begin" to find the line you need.
I'm on MO original, but with it the "779" takes you to the 779th program line that you are looking for to change. And my TES5Edit is the current version. I had no issues making the changes.
ps. For me, on a 6 yr old laptop, the patcher took around 15 minutes to process. I thought it had frozen up and was about to restart the patching process when it finally gave me the screen you see in the images. FYI
rain works but snow still comes through overhead under shelter. Buggy mod, ran the patcher etc, no indication as to why as running COT and Rudy ENB with ELFX etc so not as if using a mad obscure weather mod
Hello there ... does anyone know why "Real shelter" in its menu says : Can not detect "Frostfall". (?) But i already installed "Frostfall" for my skyrim.
Do i need to do something for this, or is it ok to leave it as that ? Do i need a patch or something ?
I use ELFX (ELFX hardcore , ELFX weather) , also try others like obsidian weather or SVWI, all those have same problems. The lighing of weather and the color of sky change when I walk into the shelter. I have tried either put realshelter esp to highest order or lowest order, the problems still happened.

5. From There Goto "Data/R.S.Patcher" and double-click RSPatch.tes5pas!
There is no R.S. Patcher in Data. What do I do? I ran TESedit and RS Patch does show up.

And what does the RSPatcher actually do?
Will RealShelter.esp not work without the patch?
