Sorry I am no longer working on this mod. Anyone that cares to take this over or start this type of mod, modify this one, you have my permission to do so. I think one with "near the shout" like this one and a second choice of "Standing in front of" the shout would be nice. All the markers in this one are as close as I could get without being in immediate danger or near the opening to inside location Thank all that have liked this mod and Redneck for notifying me I needed to give this permission. QuinnFlinders please tell us that you are working on porting this fantastic mod over to SSE?! I as well as many others would love to be able to add this one to our mods. Thanks for the great mod.
Very cool idea. I'd prefer a version that just adds the locations to the map rather than discovering them, but still I may DL. I would definitely DL if an alternative version were made. Tracking for now.
These map markers are within the "location" radius or very near. So near that on your compass, if you pan around, you will see the largest icon in black which is your destination. A few steps and you have discovered it. I believe all the outdoor walls the marker is within spitting distance. The rest of the walls are indoors and I got as close as I could without being in extreme danger with the markers. So in a sense, these markers are the locations since they are so close and you don't need to discover them.
This is really neat. That "close" to where it should be threw me off for interior walls at first; I got to one marker and looked around... nothing. Oh yeah, it's underground at the end of a maze. So I find the closest cave/barrow/whatever to that point and fight my way back to the marker.
I don't fast travel to the markers. It's just me, but I prefer to walk up. It gives me a chance to scope out the terrain and ready for any battles. I'd hate to fast travel to a marker and find myself next to a dragon priest.
Most of the walls are indoors so the markers will be as near as I could get them and still be relatively safe. You did good, just look around when at or near the marker and you should find the entrance to the indoor area you need to be. There are a few that are Faction quest related and the book will let you know about those. I also like to stay on foot/horse only and use the marker as a directional point of reference.
I did the "close" to your wall or entrance to have it as lore friendly as possible without it being an all out cheat which is giving you all the shouts without having to do anything. So, I got you close by marking the map, walk there or port there.
If it was the Laby maze, once confronted with the doorway to the maze "inside", turn right to outer inside wall and follow it to the back, no fighting necessary. When leaving you will face the burrow mound that has the wooden mask, get that also.
You also might want to get Dungeon Quest Awareness, it will let you know if a place has a quest attached. Skyrim is really buggy when it comes to quest areas so you have a choice. Use tDetect with the console to go in to get the wall shout being invisible so you don't ruin the quest, or wait on the wall until you finish the quest associated with that particular place.
@Aerdth The Werd markers are all unlocked and are available to use when you get in game. Unless you have already discovered the "site" where the wall is located it will not be discovered until you go there. What I have added is just a marker that you can use right away that is near the "site".
Will this work with custom map replacers like A Quality World Map w/ Roads?? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4929/? Or EzE's Colored Map Markers?? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26556/?

Or EzE's Colored Map Markers?? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26556/?
I use both of those and it works fine.
My load order is Quality Roads, EzE markers, TheWerd in that order.
