I've been using this mod for quite some time and it worked fabulously until recently my enchanted weapons broke whenever I left the charges at 000 or if I lowered the charges it would work until I was disarmed by a draugr deathlord or I saved and reloaded, then it would say the weapon has insufficient charge, yet both charge meters show a full charge and I'm not given the prompt to recharge the weapon, I have no clue what could possibly be causing this so any help would be greatly appreciated
Nice mod but I can't use the enchantments after disenchanting the armor, they just keep grey no matter which part i want to enchant. I am using SkyRe and Enchanting Freedom so why doesn't it work? I got all DLCs
Is there any way I could talk you into making a version of this that DOESN'T boost my move speed to a gamebreaking level? I literally can't move in this armor without it crashing. I have to stand next to the crafting station and then put the armor on, craft, then take it off or else.
Otherwise, it's great, and works well. Thanks a ton!
That's strange. I can't see why that would be the case unless the numbers are causing a crash which seems like it would only happen on a computer that can't handle the base game anyway. I've left this gear on by accident and gone into combat with it and not had issues. Try a reinstall of the mod (if you haven't yet) and if it still does it I can release a slightly less immersion breaking version.
Honestly I don't see what could be causing this unless there is another mod reacting with this one to generate variables that the game cannot calculate. I am unaware of any mods that would do this so if a reinstall doesn't fix it can you PM me with your load order?
Sorry. I meant to say that this mod shouldn't be impacting your speedmult. The enchantment applied to the gear only buffs: Smithing, Enchanting, Alchemy, and Speechcraft.
Are you APPLYING an enchantment that increases your speed? If so THAT could definitely cause a crash as it would be the equivalent of typing "player.modav speedmult 1000" for every item enchanted with that effect.
If so I would recommend making a ring or amulet WITHOUT this gear that bufs speedmult THEN making the rest of your gear with it equipped.
The enchantment on this gear should also be disenchantable so you can also make your own crafting set with this gear unequipped and apply a speed boost enchantment that wouldn't be insane.
No, I'm wondering if it's some other mod I'm using that's causing the change then, because without my interference the gear all has a speed boost of 1000%.
... I bet it's SkyRe. It tends to disable the easily abused crafting stuff. Ah well, guess I can't use it.
just my input... I used all the armour *equipped* and went into battle for a good while and had no issues at all.. plus I don't use SkyRe. just saying that's all.
Thanks. Just re checked everything in GECK and nothing should be causing speedmult issues. Also tested on a brand new char (as in coc riverwood from main menu) and no issues. I put a note on the main page asking anyone else with this issue to let me know and mention if they use SkyRe or not.
Even easier, just leave the gear somewhere and all your attributes are normal. It doesn't actually change your stats it just allows you to enchant and craft WAY beyond what should be possible in vanilla (at least without a ton of work). Uninstalling the mod WILL NOT lower the attributes of anything you ALREADY MADE using this mod. If that's your plan just don't use this gear to improve anything you can't craft again. Personally, I put old armor on mannequins and RP it as "legendary armor" from my character's youth
P.S. If you already made something OP and want to make it normal again, put it in a container, open console, click the container, type "showinventory" and look for the item's ID in the list. Then type "player.additem XXXXXXXX 1" using that ID number. You should now have a base level copy of that item in your inventory.
If you are the one who downloaded this file before the masters were cleaned please let me know. Especially if you don't have Dawnguard. I might name something after you in a future mod as compensation

Thanks for the time though.
