If any of you are having the grey face problem, please
follow these directions made by the author of the
    xvision children redone mod.

You may have to start a new game after installing this mod::
If you come across strange things like children not wearing shoes or their heads are different colors from
their bodies, or their heads are detached from their bodies, then you may have to start a new game.
This is because your save will have data stored in it that differs from what the mod specifies. Things like
NPC height/weight, race height etc. get stored in your save. So when you go and install a mod which
changes these values, your save game will ignore them. In order to resolve these issues,
you can either start a new game or follow the instructions below.

This procedure my help you resolve the issues mentioned above:
1 - Make sure the NPC is in front of you.
2 - Open the console (usually with the "~" key)
3 - Click on the NPC, click their face just to be sure you get the right object ID.
If the child has the issue where their head is detached from their body,
proceed to step 4, if not, proceed to step 5.
4 - Now type "setnpcweight 0". Hit enter.
5 - Now type "disable". Hit enter.
6 - Now type "enable". Hit enter
    7 - Exit the console.

How to make your favorite armor mod work with this mod:

    1. Open your armor mod in the Creation KIt.
    2. On the object menu, click on Items to expand the menu.
    3. Then click on ArmorAddon.
    4. You can search through all of these using the filter bar at the top of the object window.
For example, if you are looking for journeyman armor type in journeyman. Most ArmorAddons
end or begin in AA, but not all of them.
    5. Click on the ArmorAddon you wish to edit, and a window will pop up.
    6. Look on the right side of the window where it says Additional Races
    7. For compatibility with my mod, click these races:
Breton child, Breton child vampire, Imperial child, Nord child, and Redguard Child.
    8. Save your work, and you're done. If your armor is an ESM file, you will have to
make a new file to save your changes.

That's all there is to it.

So I downloaded you mod and downloaded bugsbugme's mod and I have done your specific instructions for the opulent armor re-placer mod, but the armor doesn't show. I just have a semi nude kid. My load order, pertaining to the three mods is Bugbugme then opulent's mod and then yours. Do you have anyidea what could be the problem?

It works pretty well for me and I like the option to slaughter my enemies as a child, so thanks for that.

But I have a short question: Is it normal to be pretty much invincible when I use it?

Thanks for your comment. I made the child race's head regen a bit too high
because children are supposed to be resilient, but if it makes playing as a
child too easy, I will lower it in my next update.

Honestly I haven't played far enough yet to see if it is too easy later on.

I’ve tried this mod recently and the health regen is still too high, I don’t know how to change it.

Update: Nevermind I found a way around the issue. I just changed the player action values points to what they would normally be. However if anyone wanted to do that be aware that every time you load back a previous save, or open up the game again, there’s a chance that the values will switch back to being way too high. So you will have to open up console commands to check if it’s at a normal level.

I already have this kids to play ingame - but I want to play a child wood elf or khajiet or high elf, dark elf, argonian, orc - something that will work nicely with the growing up in skyrim mod - I love starting out as a kid using alternate start or random start and working my way through to level 20 when I age up to teenager - then work my way up from there to adult etc. I really would love for the talented modders out there to take up the challenge to create the mer races into children size - they already have them as kids that are adoptable in all races so why not as playable as well?
