I will no longer be maintaining this mod, nor creating any future updates
-However, this mod is finished, and shouldn't have any major bugs.

--Users may do as they please with this mod.
--Thank you Nexus, Bethesda, and the community for the awesome Skyrim experience.

    **EDIT**

**Update 2.1** now requires all 3 DLC

Updated mod with improved crafting area, inclusion of some additional items, general gameplay balancing, and polishing. Also added crafting bench to Fort Dawnguard. See above "SSE" version link to see more details.
I originally made Dawnguard Brotherhood v2.0 as a SSE mod. But I started playing Oldrim, and liked DGBro so much I decided to recreate the changes from the ground up and back port to oldrim (pain to do since you have to do everything from scratch).

2.1 changes the enchantment for the Dawnguard Sword of Fury (I toned it down and made it more similar to the Silver Bow enchantment). If you do not like this change, do not update.

Lastly, it would be best to Unequip all DGBrotherhood related gear before updating. While updating should not break your game (I did not delete any of the previous resources), but I make no guarantees on it's "safeness".

Again as before, I consider this mod finished. Do as you want with this mod, just give credit.

I've been using this for years and just noticed it's been updated. Love the changes! The store is so beautiful I'm tempted to move in with these two lol. Love the new crafting area at the fort. Such a great mod that adds a lot more fun to Dawnguard. Thanks so much for the Classic version update.

*edit* so I just scrolled down and see it's almost four years to the day I posted lol

Is this mod compatible with the dawn of riften or dawn of skyrim city overhauls?

I'm betting it does. I tested it with Riften Theif Edition and found that the loacation will likely be untouched by other mods. The shop is just a door that is in the wall of the Riften Keep. Looks Pretty nice with Theif Edition.

Ya. This mod won't be compatible since it adds a new location inside the cities.
I have no plans of adding compatibility for this mod [I'm currently a sleep deprived med student]; but if you or Arthmoor [or anyone else] wish to add compatibility [either via patch or modifying my mod], you have my permission [see my usage rules].

Hopefully someone can make such a patch, and/or update my mod with new features.

Fantastic mod! Is it possible for the player to enchant the un-enchanted blessed weapons and retain the double damage blessing once enchanted? Or will enchanting clear the blessing from the weapon?

Is there a way to make the weapons disenchantable? Would very much like to put them on a dawnbreaker.
Either way, a nice little mod, well located and neatly furnished. Endorsed.

      Thanks for the feedback!

I'll take a look at the enchantments, but no guarantees on a disenchantable version as the enchantment for the "Fury" is scripted and may make it hard to do [it's a hybrid enchantment between the Dawnguard Rune Axe and the Dawnbreaker].

its not only undead weak against silver.vampires and werewolves are too.it sucks to see silver weapons enchantments do bonus dmg only for undead, especially when the weapon is modded one(no offence).also Sun dmg enchantment and no bonus dmg on vampires that are weak to sunlight?really now?i'm not whining,i speak generally from what we all know about vampires, warewolves etc

I know what you mean. I originally designed the Dawnguard's Fury to do damage against werewolves, but then I remembered that the sword was (1) a Dawnguard weapon, and (2) a steel weapon [not Silver].

That's why I created a second sword called "Steel sword of Statue" [and Vigor for the Enchanted version]. It does 75% more damage to Werebeasts/Giants/Trolls, and the enchanted version does magic dmg + chance to paralyze [similar to chillrend]. I forgot to take a Screenshot [so the image is not hosted], but I'll try to get a pic of it up later today

As for the Sun damage, I made all Undead [which include Vampires] weak to Sunlight damage. The Vampires take 2x [double] damage when hit with the "Steel Sword of Dawnguard". So if the sword says your 1-handed will deal "50 damage", then against vampires you will take deal 100 dmg.
--Let me reiterate, the Sundamage effect deals damage to all Undead; including Vampires since Vamps = Undead

I understand what you're getting at, but I decided to make the sword target specific [like silver swords], and the enchanted versions are just a bonus.

PS - The silver poison introduced by this mod [from the mod "Silver Alchemy"] affects all "Supernatural" targets [werebeasts, vamps, undead, etc..].

      Thanks for the interest!

you know there is a legend claiming that the old Dawnguard became eventually became Vampires after realizing their immense power and what happnes if you enter the shop as a Vampire?

Yup, I read about that rumor on UESP.

However, back to your question. I actually forgot to test this [I was going to do a "player.setrace nordracevampire"]; but Vampires should still be able to buy from the merchants; my intent was to allow this as I know Vampires also need to crawl through dungeons and fight off Draugrs. I did not add the merchants to the Dawnguard faction for this very reason. No guarantees though

However, there are some items that cannot be obtained by non-Dawnguards: a Ring that grants a new Greater Power [70% resist vamp/undead melee dmg for 30 seconds; use once per day], ability to craft Magic Arrows, ability to craft Resist Potions. If I update this mod with new items, they will most likely be exclusively for Dawnguard players.

      Thanks for the interest!

Love that you used Insanity's high quality work.

This mod seems awesome, I'm gonna put a shout out to my Vampire Hunter house Holmwood's page so vampire hunter's can find this one as well!

I did see you Vampire Hunter House mod [it is very good btw] and thought it was funny that I too was working on something similar, but as a merchant.
Oh! and thanks for the shout-out!
