I've removed the Follower requirement, so all the npc spekas with random commetaries, is very useful for mods that add npc or cities, now you feel more lively
I'm having a problem with this mod, the same one that i had with RDO. I thought that maybe it was a isolated case with RDO but no, every time i install FCO SKSE won't even open tthe game. I have no idea why, i have all the requirements, everything works fine but i can't put this mod otherwise the game won't even open. When i disable the mod on vortex the game opens normally. Anyone can help?
Is this mod compatible with Relationship dialogue overhaul? Not sure if it uses some of the same lines of dialogue or if it just adds some more.
Edit: It turns out that: Yes. It does add more dialogue and most of it is different from RDO, so the mod did improve my game. I just had to turn down the chatter frequency to 20 % so the followers didn't talk every 30 seconds or so.
hey so i've been taking a look at your SSE article and the port. sad thing is, the SE Port has been abandoned it seems and not updated for over 2 years. the infrastructure you mentioned has been set in the meantime. SKSE, SKYUI, and the godsend Adress Library for SKSE has been provided. now porting basic, static stuff to SE isn't a problem, i could do that myself but anything regarding the SKSE is out of my league sadly.
with that being said, are you still active and willing to give it a go?
I may have just been pulled out of retirement. The landscape for these kind of mods has changed a bit and I think there are a lot of people that have expanded and built onto FCO, so we'll see on that front.
Hey buddy, could you please, please include one more update? I would love to have a Shrill FCO. It would be very fun to hear that type of voice---as shrill voice overs can be a bit naggy sometimes. It would mean the world if you did.
I come with a warning to some folks: I'm getting a bug related to this mod where I get some foreign language dialogue (Spanish I think) from Sigrid (Alvor's wife in Riverwood.) It's not a big disruption, or the most serious bug I've ever encountered, but just to log it's existence I put it here. I have no idea how extensive the bug may be in dialogue, so at your own risk. I myself find it irritating, and will be uninstalling it.
Walked into my house with my follower in tow (female condescending voice) and she shouts, "At last the treasure is mine!!! ALL MINE!" "Wait, WHAT?!" lol
I think this mod is a great idea, however it needs a bit of work in my opinion. I've noticed the mod is a few days from it's sixth birthday as of my typing so I'm unsure if this is because of an abandoned mod getting old or if it was just always this way.
My biggest complaint is the frequency of which the followers talk, it's so frequent I end up just wishing they would stop. It's not my intention to make it a competition, but I have Interesting NPCs installed and they frequency of idle commentary is much more balanced and much more comfortable. So my first suggestion is to extend the amount of time between remarks so you don't have constant chatter about this or that random thign in the background that you've only heard about for the seventh time in the last hour.
My second complaint would be to more specifically limit some of the dialogue options, one of my favorite companions is Lydia, I love having her around, I love that she issues commentary from time to time. What's frustrating now with this mod is that now she's constantly complaining aobut needing to bathe to get this stench off of her. She complains about it when we're walking throuhg Whiterun, when we're in the wilderness, when we're running down a road, when we're in a crypt, when we're in the Great Hall of Dragonsreach for craps sake! I think it's a cool commentary option yes, but it keep's popping up at completely innapropriate times and that just really needs to be fixed.
In summation, I think this is a great mod and a great concept, but either it's gotten old and not been maintained (reasonable, but please note that in the description), or it's in need of a bit of work. Either way I would like to see more from you (and a bit of updates/maintenance on this mod as well) thanks!

Oh, I am an idiot. It took me far too long to realize I was using this version, the oldrim version.
