    ALWAYS READ THE FKN DESCRIPTION!!! Wanted to ask a VERY important question, about lights being up in dungeons that DO have alive residents and the answer is right there in the description! Now i know that this mod is for me! Would be great if there were different levels of darkness to chose from tho.

    PS, so do your mod covers all the dungeons in the whole game already or only those in the readme file?

    The only problem I experienced with this mod is that in the High Gate Ruins, where the quest "A Scroll for Anska" is located, there is a puzzle section that uses braziers that light up during the puzzle to show the player their progress. This mod removes those brazier flames and breaks the puzzle because even once I did the puzzle properly, the door did not open like it was supposed to

      Ensure the four braziers surrounding the gate are extinguished before pulling the levers. The braziers light when the levers are pulled. If
      they are already lit then the levers will not lock into place and the
      gate will not open.

    Just reporting that after some time I decided to give a go play Skyrim again without any lighting mod and this mod. What I would like to point out here is that using the mod Sneak Tools, you can actually light the candles inside Bleak Falls Barrow with Flames spell (and probably the fire arrows from Sneak Tools). I dont know why you cant light the braziers, maybe they are not supported by that mod.
    You can take a look at it jakeoberg and see if you can figure how to make the braziers light-able too!

      by ysmirs beard i didnt even think of that i have that mod to but i never use it for the lighting stuff thanks i will look at that!

      There seens to be something wrong with bleak falls barrow, after the first axe trap after rounding the corner there was no more walls, not sure if caused by this mod, will deactivate and test now.
      Edit: Seens to be this mod, but maybe its a interaction with another mod, maybe Skyrim Project Optimization, which introduces somes occlusion planes in dungeons.
      Unfortunately its the same issue reported bellow, some section of tunnel missing. This cant be fixed in tes5edit I'm afraid. I might take a look at CK.

      Edit2: found the problem with the disappearing tunnels in Bleak falls barrow: open the plugin in tes5edit and simply remove the Permanent node from Bleakfallsbarrow01 Cell block 8 sub-block 5. There are some mists that need disabling, will check now if I can spot then on Tes5edit.

      Ok, found the weird mists one of then is not edited on your mod, the other I think you moved bellow ground from the upper floor and ended up appearing one level down:

      Edit: Looks like thats it for Bleak Falls Barrow. Once I venture into the others I will review then since I found out how to fix it!

      Yes I can confirm it has happened for me aswell, right after first corridor-axe trap.

    The lights are a helpful game play mechanic, but really take from immersion and realism. Thank you for the mod. I am looking forward to relighting.

      It's actually stated in the lore that the Draugr were cursed to maintain the resting places of said dungeons however there are caves and dungeons that have nothing to do with dragon priests and those I would love to see be darker.

    Nice mod. However for some strange reason it does not work for me and the dungeons is still pretty light. I dont use any other light/special FX mod, my game use vanilla lighting and nothing more, except Darker Night mods but I highly doubt that they conflict each other. I remember playing with this mod back in 2012-2013 and worked fine and well. My game is very freshly installed.

    I've been looking for mods like this and it looks fine, but it seems to have the same problem as the others. I as a players seem to be the only one affected by this total darkness. All the NPCs and enemies seem to be doing fine, immediately notice me and even manage to fire spells and arrows at me. I'd really like a "darkness" mod where the player is not the only one who is at a disadvantage.

      that is normal. you need to combine dark mods with dark mods go check immersive npcs in the dark check out the optional files. combine that mod with this one

    The new ELFX 3 has a new hardcore dungeon mode it does what this mod does and then some. I'll still endorse this mod for being the first of it's kind! Thanks again author!
